"Now, do you understand everything?" the head servant asked Jimin.
"Yes, thank you so much," Jimin replied with a bow of gratitude. She had just thoroughly guided him through the cleaning procedures, as today marked the start of his work as Jungkook's personal maid-a week after their initial conversation.
Jimin's emotions were a jumble as he processed the situation. He was grateful for the job opportunity, yet he couldn't shake the uneasiness he felt about being around Jungkook. It wasn't fear or intimidation, but rather a sense of unease at the way Jungkook looked at him, a feeling that was difficult for Jimin to put into words.
Despite being his savior, Jungkook's behavior always leave Jimin feeling conflicted. While he wanted to trust Jungkook, there was an underlying sense of wariness that lingered in his mind.
Nevertheless, Jimin made the decision to carry out his cleaning duties only when Jungkook wasn't in his room. The head servant had provided him with detailed information about Jungkook's schedule, emphasizing the Mafia boss's strict punctuality. As Jungkook's personal maid, Jimin needed to be prepared to work around his routine.
According to Jungkook's schedule, he hit the gym for a solid two hours straight from 5 to 7 in the early morning. Jimin reasoned that this would be the perfect opportunity to carry out his cleaning and mopping duties without any interference.
"No need to say thanks, Jimin. You can call me anytime if you need any help, and just be careful," Rejin advised him, her concern evident in her tone. Jimin nodded politely before making his way back to the third floor where his and Jungkook's room was located.
Despite being a dangerous mafia, Jungkook was also known for being clean and tidy, maintaining every inch of his room with precision and without allowing any speck inside. Jimin was confident that he could handle the cleaning efficiently within the two-hours.
So he began his work by making the bed, noticing that it hadn't been made yet. With careful precision, he smoothed out the sheets and fluffed the pillows until the bed looked neat.
Next, he did vacuuming, ensuring to reach every corner and crevice of the room.
Then, Jimin moved on to the mopping, carefully gliding the mop over the tiled floor. As he worked, the room began to transform, the marble floor gleaming under the gentle rays of dawn streaming in through the glass sunroof. With each stroke of the mop, the floor shone brighter.
After completing the initial tasks, Jimin moved on to dusting. With much care, he dusted every piece of furniture in the spacious room.
Moving towards the bar area, Jimin couldn't help but marvel at the array of expensive and prestigious drinks neatly displayed behind the counter. Each bottle was carefully labeled and framed in wooden blocks, showcasing Jungkook's refined taste in beverages.
As he dusted the wooden shelves, Jimin took extra care to handle each bottle delicately, mindful of their cost. And because of living in club he was familiar of some of them. The names of the drinks alone painted a vivid picture of Jungkook's sophisticated taste.
Given Jungkook's persona as a mafia boss, the aura of the room was perfectly matched him and his dark choices. Nevertheless, Jimin continued his task diligently, dusting each wooden block and its content with precision.
Despite being fully engrossed in his work, Jimin's eyes failed to notice the key lying behind a heavy bottle on one of the shelves. It was as if the key had been deliberately hidden there, out of sight from prying eyes.
Perhaps it wasn't the right time for Jimin to uncover the secret concealed behind the shelves, a mystery that remained hidden from everyone's knowledge.
