excitement filled chrissy as she headed to the ice after school. approaching the rink, the ducks marveled at its size, impressive for a high school team.

as they walked up to the glass, chrissy couldn't contain her enthusiasm. "wow, this place is great!" she exclaimed, her eyes widening with delight.

"this is a nice rink." charlie concurred, glaring down the ice. "it's huge." averman added in astonishment.

mid-practice, the varsity players were on the ice, likely wrapping up soon for jv time. casually speculating, goldberg remarked, "you know, i bet they even have a snack bar here."

"big deal." fulton scoffed, his tone dismissive.

"they look pretty good." luis commented looking at the varisty players. they were big, fast and strong. their physical presence was undeniable – towering figures, swift in their movements, and exuding a palpable strength that added to their impressive demeanor on the ice.

"they've sure won a lot of championships." julie pointed out eyeing the hung banners.

"they're not so hot." charlie shrugged, unimpressed.

"come on guys, we could skate out there." connie encouraged, seeking to uplift the team's spirits.

as the varsity team concluded their practice, the ducks approached the door with a shared anticipation, ready to step onto the ice.

in a choreography of comings and goings, the varsity team exited while the ducks entered. among them, the head varsity boy they'd encountered in the auditorium took notice of charlie, teasingly smacking his chest. "well, if it isn't captain ducky."

fulton, protective and defiant, responded with a firm nudge, "get your hands off him."

"ooh look, a bash brother." another varisty boy chuckled as the team cornered them. "i'm so scared."

fuelled by his pride, fulton wasted no time charging at the teasing player. the ducks immediately tried to grab him and pull him away but it was about to turn into a full on brawl.

"break it up! come on, men. let's go!" coach wilson, the head of varisty, thankfully caught wind of what was going on and broke it up. the rest of the ducks kept moving as the rest of varsity made their way out.

now gliding down the ice with deliberate grace, charlie wore a confident smirk, addressing dwayne with a playful challenge. "how about it, cowboy? round up?" he teased glancing at the boy, who was already brandishing his lasso.
