It was Aurora's first day of the semester, she was a junior who works as an assistant physical therapist and majored in physical therapy. She had just gotten to UCONN's practice basketball court to take care of the women's basketball athlete's pre-season. As soon as she walks into the court she is greeted with a yelling Geno. She turned to see who was his victim this time, it was none other than Paige Bueckers, the top basketball player last season. As she walked in the blonde flashed her a smile and continued playing after her coach's rant was over. Rory walked into the PT office and was greeted by Hailie who was organizing and setting up the PT supplies.
"Hey Rory, how was your break?"
"Hailieeee, it was good. How was yours?"
"Great. Today you are in charge of being near the court and helping with minor injuries."
"Okay, that's fine by me."
The dark-haired girl heads back to the supplies Hailie had just set up and prepares a kit for the day. Once she goes back to the sidelines and sits down, Geno has the players doing drills. Aries starts having a conversation with Coach Geno.
"Hi Geno, good morning."
"Hi Rory, how are you?"
"I'm good, how are you?"
"Good, I'm glad to have you again this season."
"Can't get rid of me so soon" She says with a smile.
Geno soon calls a break and the girls grab their water bottles. Paige walks out to get her water while Rory watches her. Paige looks at Aurora to see her already looking at her, she had been caught. The blonde winks while the other's cheeks flush pink at the interaction. Paige walks up to her and starts talking.
"Hi Rory, good to have you back"
"Hi, Paige."
There is a moment of silence before Paige sits next to the girl.
"You look even prettier this year, didn't think that was possible"
"Paige, you've got to stop complimenting me. The season didn't even start." Rory says while her cheeks heat up
"I can't, besides, you know you love it." she winks
Absentmindedly making me want you.
Rory internally screams but looks collected still. Nika walks up to the two girls
"Roryyyyy" The tall brunette says hugging the shorter one.
"Nika, I missed you so muchhh" Aurora says
Eventually, the players go back to practice and Rory observes Paige the entire time. Eventually, the basketball practice is over, but the girl's day isn't. Aurora still has cheer practice.
