Chapter 16

Misty P.O.V.
*flashback*

"Misty!" My friend Jake ran towards me waving, "Jake! Big brother will be out here soon." I was 5 years old, they boys were 7. Only two years older than me, "Jake ,Misty!" Big brother ran towards us, "Big brother, Jake had just arrived. Let's play in the sand box." I ran as the boys followed after.

*time lapse*

I was now 9 years of age. The boys were 11. Jake was sitting on a swing next to Michael. I sat on a picnic blanket my mother played out for us. The sky suddenly filled with dark clouds, "Let me go." Jake begged as someone dressed with a black trench coat held him from the ground while Michael tried to fight him. I stood paralyzed with fear. I saw black when Jake and our parents ran out. It was too late he was bitten. The next day I'd woken up with no memory of him or anything to do with that day.

*end of flashback*

I shot up, "Michael, y-you were telling t-the truth." I sobbed into my brothers chest. Jake soon got up. He stayed silent, "Misty, I think you and Jake should go home and get some rest. Jake I'm going to train you as well but first, we're going to kill the vampire that turned you. I know who he is."

"Who is he?" I ask, "Elric Mayfire (pronounced L-rick). He's a rogue vampire who was thrown out of his village the year before."

"Brother, how do you know this?"

"I've done my research. As soon as you were bitten, I followed him back to his house. It's at the far end of the woods" Jake had his head in his hands.

Jake P.O.V.
How is this possible? I knew Misty but forgot about her. I had a life that was stolen from me. I was born a wolf. Why is this haunting me?, "Jake we need to go now." Misty told me, "Thanks Michael" we spoke in unison as we left. The was silence on the way back and for the first time in years I walked without covering up from the sun. The heat felt good honestly, "Jake are you alright?" She asked when we were alone, "Yeah I am. Now about what your brother said you need to tell me-"

"Now's a better time than any." She told me everything. I was surprised that I'm actually gonna help with this plan.

*night*

"Why did Misty and you leave this morning?" Ashley asked me. I never said a word, "Talk to me please." He begged, I never replied, "Ja-"

"Ashley drop it. He's not in the mood to talk." CC cut him off. Misty told me not to tell them yet. Andy and Jinxx walked in followed by Misty, "The young lady said we should come here." Jinxx spoke. Is she going to tell them?
