when life had but one color
when it was all grey and very sour
you came and brought a rainbow
love, soon started to follow
when i felt very blue
and no one had a clue
you were the only one
who brought the shine of the sun
for many reasons unknown
your feelings for me have grown
i was your yellow
but all i am is shallow
blinded by my own heart
looked at you, didn't even start
i'm sorry for making your life black
when all you wanted
was bring me my rainbow back
