After telling everyone everything, most were annoyed that I was being punished because of my idiot mother and stepfather.  I let them know it was okay since it was just for the first semester.  I let them know I understood and was not holding a grudge against the Dean.  We also found out that the girl was expelled.  Her money for the current semester was refunded, and she was forced to return home.  Her parents tried to fight it, but when they saw the evidence and heard what happened with Tristan, they dragged her home.  From what we heard, she is going to the university close to home and will have to live with her parents.

If she doesn't comply, they will cut her off.  I guess she should be happy they didn't send her to an all-girls school.  Lace did inform me that our other roommate was coming in later tonight instead of early the next morning.  I was glad she was coming in tonight, so I did not have to wake up early so I could meet her.  What I found funny was that Charles and Fleur insisted on picking her up.  I just shrugged my shoulders and plopped on the couch with the rest of the gang.  We had just finished eating take-out that was delivered, and luckily, on their way out, Fleur and Charles took out the trash.

It is really strange having parental figures that put the kids first.  I am so used to it being Melody, then my stepfather, and then my mother.  I wonder if my mother realizes that a spouse is supposed to put them first.  In our house, it always seemed as if he didn't want it to happen it didn't even if my mother wanted it to happen.  Even decorating the whole house was up to him and Melody.  I guess buying what she wanted was worth everything she gave up.

Of course, the guys opted for a scary movie, and we ended up watching The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.   According to Jean-Luc, it was because both Tristan and I were from Texas.  I just shook my head and curled up into a ball with a blanket around me.  Not to mention, I had Tristan right next to me since we were the only singles in the place.  I didn't even realize what I was doing until I heard, "NOW THAT I AM HERE LET'S GET THIS PARTY STARTED."  I screamed and jumped right into Tristan's lap.  I don't know how I ended up right next to him.

I gulped and was about to move off his lap when I realized that it was Joellen that scared the crap out of me.  Of course, I screamed again and leaped over the sofa, tackling her to the ground.  "What are you doing here?"  She chuckled."I can't believe you forgot my first choice was MIT?"  "Yeah, but you didn't get a full ride."  Jean-Luc was laughing as he separated us and between him and Marcel helped us off the floor.

"True, but your dad worked some magic and got me another partial through his company.  Not to mention, your grandparents convinced my parents that this would help me grow as a person.  It also helped a lot when that douche's parents told them not to let me leave and to force me to marry Willie and do as he says."  I snorted."You are kidding me.  Do they not realize who runs your family?"  She chuckled."I guess not.  That was all it took for my mom to finally relent and give in to my father and your grandparents."

"I am so glad you are here."  I look around."Wait a minute.  Why does it look like everyone knew about this but me."  Joellen laughed."Because they did.  Remember when I took off for a week to visit schools for extra credit."  "Yes, that is the only reason your mom let you go.  You needed those extra points to become Salutatorian."  "Exactly not only was I here to get the points but to meet everyone here.  Your grandfathers and your dad set all this up."

"This is going to be completely awesome.  Now, we can finally do things without worrying if the idiots are going to interrupt us."  "Yep, your dad even bought me a new phone with a new number.  I left the old phone back home.  Your dad found out that somehow they put a tracker on my phone.  Plus, one of the douche's cousins has my number, and we are afraid he will track me through my old number.  Especially since Willie insisted that he was not happy I dumped him."
