I heard Grams gasp as Pops asked, "You seem to be spending a lot of time with Trina. Is there more there, Tristan?" "Pop's come on, she is Lewis's ex. I don't want to cause any family drama." Grams spoke up."Family drama. The family is distancing themselves from them. Especially since that... I won't say it because it is wrong to call a woman that."

Heather laughed. "Ah, come on, Mrs. Lowenstien call it like you see it she is a slut. Come on sleeping with her step-sister's boyfriend just to hurt her makes her a slut." I heard Pops chuckle "She is trying to be a good example to you kids." Tristan looks at all of us and shakes his head "Anyway Grams why is the family distancing themselves from those people."

"Well, when everyone found out that Melody, her father, and that woman who gave birth to a wonderful girl like Katrina expected Trina to give up her life for Meldoy they were disgusted. Especially since my now ex-son and his family were one hundred percent behind them since Lewis and Melody deserve the best. That a low life like Katrina whose father abandoned her doesn't deserve anything except being a slave."

Tristan wraps an arm around me "Are they all stupid or something? It sounds like they are all shooting themselves in the foot." "Yep, it appears so. Since you will not answer my question..." I looked at Tristan and raised my eyebrow since Pops hung up the call. "What the heck he didn't even say goodbye." Tristan then gets a video call and there are Pops and Grams on the screen. Luckily I had stepped back from Tristan after Pops hung up.

He rolls his eyes and answers the call "Pops really why are you video-calling me?" I guess Grams glares at him because Tristan looks like he is going to faint. I walk up behind Tristan "Hey Grams and Pops." I wave at them to give Tristan a moment to collect himself. She smiled at me "Hey Trina sweetheart. So, has our responsible, devastatingly handsome, witty, and completely loyal grandson won your heart?"

I looked at her and could see the huge smile and the glimmer in her eyes. I feel myself instantly blush and Grams starts jumping around. "Yes, he did. Katrina will be part of our family." I look at Tristan and he smiles pulling me next to him and wrapping an arm around me. "So, you two are not upset I am dating Lewis's ex." Pops shakes his head "Hell no. We both love Katrina. We were so disappointed when Lewis threw in her face that girl."

Heather pipes up again "Slut get it right slut." I laugh "Heather stop that. Pops and Grams are old fashioned and do not believe in saying ugly things about a lady." Joellen snorts "You have to be a lady first." That caused everyone to lose it. I shook my head "Really you two are ok with us being together."

Grams smiles "Sweetheart when we found out that you two met up and became friends we have been hoping you would fall for each other. To be perfectly honest with you. I never thought Lewis was right for you. He is too self-centered and selfish to be with someone as caring and giving as you. I always felt you were a better fit for our Tristan."

As I snuggle closer to Tristan's chest he clears his throat. "I hope you two will agree with us on this but we do not want any of those parasites to know we are together. It will only cause them to be more gung-ho on finding Katrina." Grams laughed "Please there is no way we are letting them know you two are happy. That will cause all of them to lose their shit."

Pops looked at me "Does your dad know yet sweetheart?" I shook my head "Not yet because we just became official about thirty minutes before we called you guys." "Oh, this is going to be so much fun." I raise an eyebrow and look at Tristan as he shrugs his shoulders. We watch as Pops is poking at his screen and I gasp.

Tristan looks down at me "What babe?" I shake my head "Pops is calling my dad." Sure enough, there is my dad. "So, what was so important...wait what is this. Baby girl, please tell me this means what I think it means." Tristan pulls me closer and kisses the top of my head "Sir, I meant to call you and ask if it is ok for me to date your daughter?"
