[A/N]: Before continuing with the chapter, I’ll mention that (Name) has three distinct ways to call Levi:

Captain: When she’s around other Scouts or when maintaining a professional demeanor.

Levi: A more casual way to address him.

Love/my love: Their personal endearment to each other.

I hope you enjoy the chapter!

The Scout Regiment was preparing for their most dangerous mission yet. The tension was palpable as each member of the team silently prepared for what was ahead. They had been through many trials together, but this mission was different. It carried with it a heavy weight, a burden of responsibility that none of them could ignore.

Levi, always calm and composed, remained focused. But even he couldn’t mask the gravity of the situation. Every member of Squad Levi understood that failure was not an option—not this time. Their future depended on their success, and they were willing to give everything they had to make it happen.

(Name)’s heart raced with anxiety, a sharp pain tightening in her stomach. She couldn’t shake the feeling that something was wrong, that this mission would be different from the rest. There was a foreboding sense in the air, and her instincts screamed at her to be prepared for the worst. The room felt suffocating, and with every passing second, the unease grew.

Levi, noticing her growing anxiety, turned to her with a look of concern. His eyes met hers, and he asked, his voice softer than usual, "Are you okay?"

(Name) hesitated for a moment, not knowing how to respond. She hadn’t expected Levi to ask about her anxiety. His concern, though subtle, helped to ease some of the tension in her chest.

"No, Captain," she answered honestly, her voice laced with a mix of worry and determination. "I’m not okay."

Levi’s brows furrowed as he noticed the seriousness in her tone. He could feel the weight of her unease and wasn’t about to let it go unaddressed. His hand moved to her shoulder, his touch light but steady. "Tell me what’s going on," he urged, his voice filled with a mix of concern and care.

"My gut is telling me something is going to go wrong," (Name) confessed, her voice trembling slightly. She took a deep breath, trying to calm the storm of emotions inside. "I feel like it’s a bad idea—like something awful is about to happen."

Levi’s expression softened, a trace of pain flashing across his features as he listened to her words. Without a second thought, he pulled her close, wrapping his arms around her in a comforting embrace. His voice was firm, but there was a gentle quality to it as he spoke.

"Everything is going to be okay, my love," he said, trying to reassure her, though he too had his doubts. "You’re a strong soldier, and I know you’ll do great out there. You’ve got me, and you’ve got the entire Scout Regiment and Squad Levi to back you up. Trust your instincts and believe in yourself. I know you can do it."

Her heart fluttered at his words, and despite her anxiety, (Name) felt a sense of warmth and comfort flood through her. Levi’s words meant more than anything right now, and she could feel the weight of her worries begin to lift slightly.

"I love you," he added softly, lowering his head to give her a gentle kiss on the forehead. His lips lingered for a moment, and (Name)’s heart skipped a beat. The kiss was tender and full of affection, and she felt her anxiety ease a little more.

Levi didn’t care that the other Scouts witnessed his tenderness with (Name). All he cared about was making her feel safe and supported, especially in this moment of uncertainty. His actions spoke volumes—he wasn’t afraid to show his affection, not when it came to her.
