"So what is it that you're gonna say?"

"Be my date." he said.

His what???

"Uhh Skyler, if you're just gonna tell me useless stuff, it's better that you keep your mouth shut." I stated

We were in the school garden since he wanted a private chitchat tss

"I mean, just pretend to be my date for tomorrow night."

I gave him a questioning look

"Okay, let me get this straight. I'll be your effin date?" I faked a cough. "The hell you're insane!"

"Look, my dad's having an event and I want to ditch it. But there'd be hell to pay if I didn't."

"Then ditch it! I don't care if you'll suffer or something your ass is already in hell."

"Geez woman, you're impossible! You'll just pretend to be my date for fuck's sake." He ran his fingers through his hair and I can see that he's irritated and tensed.

He even looks hotter when he's angry.

"If you really want a date why not ask anybody! I'm sure there are lots of girl who are dying just to be with you. How 'bout Chloe? Or Sandra?"

"Eric and Josh are invited too. Sandra is Josh's date, Eric has his girls and Chloe's going with Zeke."

"Why is Chloe with your brother?" I asked

He scratched the back of his neck. We were almost yelling at each other. I don't want to go with him coz maybe he'll make fun of me.

He shrugged his shoulders.

"I don't know? Maybe Zeke asked her out first."

I raised a brow at him. "Are you really this shallow?"

"You're so nosy. Why do you have so many questions? So, are you in or what?"

"There's no way I'm going to agree with you.'

"Yeah but either way you're going with me." He said in a cold tone then exited out.

He's such a suck-up.

Last night I spent the majority of my time in playing Xbox with Connor and only slept like four hours but right now, I feel like my head is going to burst any second and I just really need a good sleep.

I woke up exactly 9 am and since it's saturday, I can finally get enough sleep. I rolled to the other side of my bed and my head is still throbbing.

*knock* *knock*

I shifted when I hear a knock. It's probably my mom and I walked towards the door to open.

I just opened the door lightly just enough to give her a peek.

"Good morning honey." she greeted me with a smile.

"Hey mom. What's up?"

"Can you run to the grocery today? We're running out of supplies."

"Why don't you let Henri do it instead?" Henri, our butler. He works for our diner.

"Henri's with your brother. He accompanied him to the football field."

"But mom---

"No more questions! Here's the list and the money." She handed me a folded paper with the money inside it. "I figured that maybe you could do a little excercise and outdoor activities." She said before closing the door.
