Chapter 4

I decided to go to our diner after school. It's always a part of my hobby wherein I stay at our diner, sometimes I help and sometimes I would just sit there to do my homeworks or to read. The good stuff is, you get to eat free food! Haha.

"Good afternoon Carter!"

"Yo Carts!"

"How's it going?"

Our employees greeted me as I took a seat nearby the counter.

This is so relaxing! Rona, our waitress offered me coffee and a slice of cherry pie.

I was thinking what happend at school earlier. I encountered the devil. That was so embarrassing.

I mean, write something with that guy?! That guy is so shallow and I'd rather eat hair than do a project with him.

"Hey! Carter!" someone called my name and I looked to see who it was.

It's Josh! He knows my name! He came to my table and occupied the seat infront of me.

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

"What are you doing here?" he rephrased my question.

"I always come here after school. We kinda own this place."

"Oh." he replied.

"How about you? What brings you here?"

"I'm with some friends."

FRIENDS? That means the devil's here? I looked around to see if he's---

"Don't worry. He's not here. He's at Eric's place with Sandra."

"Oh. Okay. Wait, his first day in school and he's with Sandra now?"

Manwhore.

"Chick magnet. Haha. Gotta go! See you around." He smiled at me and left.

Skyler and Sandra? How? When? Maybe Sandra was flirting with him. Bitch!

I'm glad that Josh isn't one of them. He's looks kind and gentle.

I took a sip of coffee and just read a book.

Skyler's POV

At Eric's club.

"Bye boys! Nice hangin' out with you. Especially you, Skyler." Sandra said and gave me a smack on the lips.

I  went back to our table when Eric and my boys started teasing me with Sandra and poking my both sides.

"Dude. You actually made it to the first base! I'm telling you, that chick is HOT!"

I didn't pay attention of what they're saying coz I was busy thinking of the girl who messed up with me, Carter Rose Richards. The first girl who dared to yell and embarrass me.

I took out my phone and started to look at her stolen shot at the cafeteria while eating. She's looks like a pup here! But I find here interesting, it makes me wanna annoy her more.

"Dude, are you even listening?" Eric asked and I came back to my senses.

"W-what?" I asked.

"What's going on with you, dude? You seemed to be fucked up there."

"Nothing. I just remembered how that girl embarrassed me earlier. She dosen't know who she's messin with."

"Ohhh. That dork? Her name's---

"Carter Rose Richards. I looked it up on the school website. She ruined my day."

"What are you gonna do now, take your revenge on her?"

"No. I'll just make her life miserable."

Carter's POV

10:00 PM. I still can't sleep coz there's a lot of things that happend to me today. WORST THINGS. BAD STUFF.

So I opened my Facebook account instead. 

And look who just sent me a request.

I had every intention of deleteing his request, but I guess my hand has its own brain and did the opposite thing.

HAHAHAHA I JUST CONFIRMED IT.

Oh well, maybe it's okay.

I clicked on to see his profile.

Wow! He's really popular like a celebrity or something. I liked his Profile picture tho, he looks handsome there and not looking like a devil. Hahaha.

A chat box popped up.

Skyler Finn:

Carter Rose:

shut up, douche!

Skyler Finn:

Aren't you sleepy yet?

Why does he care?

Carter Rose:

why do you care?

Skyler Finn:

Oh. I don't care. It's just your computer's still on. You're wasting electricity. poor thing haha!

I didn't reply. He's so annoying!

Skyler Finn:

cat got your tongue?

Carter Rose:

Good night and good riddance!

Skyler Finn:

have a sweet nightmare. lates!

Then he signed off. I turned off my computer to and headed back to bed.

I just let out a loud sigh before closing my eyes. I am so ot looking forward to go to school tomorrow!
