Perfect Piece of Forever

Chapter 2

These thoughts kept running in my mind when suddenly the bell rang and it's time for our first, actually a double period class in Biology. I hurriedly went to our classroom when some guy just bumped into me, the next thing I knew was my books were on the floor. Just great!

"I'm so sorry. Are you ok?" he said.

"I'm okay. It's just my things." I said as I picked up my things before I get distracted by the cuteness of this guy. He is about six feet tall, has a blonde platinum hair and has the most dazzling eyes, ever!

"Oh." He started helping me picking up my things and the he saw some of my test papers and stared at it for a moment. I felt shy so I snatched it from his hands.

"Wow. Those are high scores you've got there. You must be really good"

"It's none of your business."

Not to mention, he's blocking my seat. I just gave him a cold stare. 

Who am I kidding? He's cute! I tried  not to be obvious and tried to get a grip of myself.

My brain says, Knock it off Carter!

But my Heart says, He's adorable!

"By the way, I'm------------

He was about to intoduce himself when my supposed bestfriend, Kayla Shaw grabbed my hand and pulled me to her side. 

"Hey! Where've you been? Have you heard the news?"

"News about what? Is it urgent?"

"Of course it's urgent. Gossip tells that three hottie-newbies from McClean High are in our school! And they're in our class! But I did'nt get their names though."

"Gosh Kayla, you beat the shit out of me. I thought it was something important." I rolled my eyes and went to my seat.

"Who cares? The important thing is, they're hot and I can't wait to meet them!" 

"Hot? You haven't even seen them"

"Exactly. Geez. Why do you hate boys?" she gave me a questioning look and giggled.

Kayla Shaw. My bestfriend. She's an only child in her family. Her parents are in Alaska working as Real Estate agents so she stays with her Aunt Mindy. Kayla's been my bestfriend since gradeschool. But when we got into high school, she changed A LOT. I mean she's still the same Kayla I knew back then it's just her appearance! She wears above the knee skirts, had her nails painted red, and even dyed her hair blonde! (she was a brunette) Sometimes I feel like Kayla and I are the only normal kids at school. We love each other that's why our friendship still's strong.

Kayla settled down at her seat as well as the whole class when our teacher, Ms. Bay came in.

"Good Morning class, Now, now. Settle down please. We've got three newbies here from McClean High. Boys, please introduce yourselves"

A hot jock stood up.

"Hey guys, I'm Eric Lore. nice to meet you." the guy said.

Girls at the back started screaming, giggling and squeaking including Kayla. I just let out a loud sigh. Could this be more annoying?

Then another guy stood up. I was surprised to see his face. He was the guy I just bumped into this morning.

"I'm Josh Hartley. Pleased to meet you all"

Josh. So that's his name. He's really cute. He's the first guy I was attracted to.

"I thought there were three of you. Where's the other one?" Our teacher asked.

Eric answered. "Oh he's always late for class."

"I see. Very well then take your seats boys."

Josh was sitting on the chair in front of me and Eric at my left. The right seat beside me was empty so I placed my things there to make my sitting more comfortable. 

The rest of the class was pretty boring. I decided to work on my homework on literature instead, but pretending to pay attention to our discussion. I wrote something about popularity on how high school students find it important. 

I finished my assignment and entitled it Popularity Project. It wasn't hard at all. Mr. Hopkins is gonna love this! 

"Hey! It's ma bro!" Josh yelled and got the whole class' attention.

"Excuse me, are you in my class?" Ms. Bay asked.

"Uhh, Yeah. The name's Skyler Finn, newbie."

I was dumfounded by his looks. He got me tongue tied. It's like I was struck by lightning. 

He was so handsome. Mathematically, Perfectly, and Symmetrically handsome. He has perfect hair. I want to touch his copper-colored hair. He has grey eyes! Eyes, that could melt anyone staring at him, a pointy nose and kissable lips!

"Please take your seat beside Ms. Richards."

Wh-what? The hot burger's gonna seat beside me???

"Miss, get your things. It's on my seat." Skyler asked. He looks like a god.

"Uhmmmm. miss, if you're not gonna get 'em, i'm gonna throw it."

hmmmm... I could smell the scent of his manly perfume.

I was trying to get the point of this scenario when-----------

*BAAAAM*

He just threw my things away! ugghh!  SHIT!

"Hey! Don't you have any manners at all?! You can't just throw away other people's stuff." I said as I picked up my things.

"You shoul've thought of that before. Look, miss. I warned you already. Too bad, you can't help yourself from staring at me. You almost looked like a dog drooling." says the devil

I looked up and I saw the whole class laughing at me. I look like a sh^t. He embarrassed me infront of the whole class! He's such a jerk! Forget what I thought about him earlier. I take it back! ughhhh!!!!!

"HEY!-------

"Ms. Richards please take you seat or I'm gonna have to send you off to detention." Ms. Bay warned.

"Okay. I'm sorry Ms. Bay." I replied

I'm gonna get you for this, SKYLER FINN!
