'The next place we have to search is a dangerous town,' Thomas said, his voice filled with caution. 'We need disguises.'

Jinx, always eager to help, chimed in, 'I can help with that.' Their faces were filled with confusion, wondering why Jinx would want to get involved. Thomas glanced around and spotted Williams approaching the boat.

Turning to Jinx, Thomas asked, 'I need an explanation. Why would you want to involve the child?'

Jinx replied confidently, 'I asked for this. He didn't do anything.'

Thomas wasn't convinced, but they had no time to argue. They continued planning how to infiltrate CESHITA, a town known for its ruthless giants who had a taste for young people.

'The plan is that we'll divide ourselves,' Thomas explained. 'Since Williams decided to take Jinx along, it might disrupt our original plan.'

Jinx nodded a determined look in their eyes. 'Go on,' they said, urging Thomas to continue.

Thomas continued, describing how they would wear ragged outfits to blend in with the locals and apply black marks on their bodies. Amelia stepped forward to help, carefully placing the marks with black paint. Soon, they resembled the pirates of the Caribbean.

History had warned them about CESHITA. Although its name sounded pleasant, the town was infamous for its threatening inhabitants, many of whom were pirates themselves.

Feeling the chill of the evening air, Jinx's cold symptoms began to worsen. They desperately needed a warm and safe place to rest. Luckily, they stumbled upon a small, rundown shed tucked away in a hidden corner of the town.

Inside the shed, they found shelter from the biting cold. It wasn't the most comfortable place, but it provided them with a temporary respite. They huddled together, seeking solace in each other's company, and drifted off to sleep.

The night was eerie and quiet, with only the occasional rustle of leaves and the distant hooting of an owl. It felt as if the town itself was holding its breath, waiting for something to happen.

The men from Victorian London were still on the search for the miners. It seemed like a more complex issue for them as Emily was missing, and now they are on the search. Ceshita is not a friendly town, and they had to make sure they did not catch anyone's attention since they were new to the town. Thomas found an elderly man who seemed trusted and he told them why they were in the town. Williams felt the old man would snitch on them, but it did not seem so. He took them into his chambers and offered them water. He smiled over Jinx and gave her an apple treat with melted sugar. It was delicious, and Jinx returned a smile to the old man, Pa Huger. "I am so sorry that my room seems uncomfortable since I live alone. There is no need for so much space," he said as he gave a glance at each of their faces. Amelia reassured him that it was fine.

"We are miners from Victorian London, sent to mine in South America on our way we robbed my pirates and a member of ours got kidnapped which put a stop to our mission. We need your help to get to these pirates," says Williams as he stretches his hands to Thomas to get out the map for his sack bag.
He proceeded by saying.
"Here are the places we have been on the island this is the third Island and according to what Thomas says most pirates camp here."

Mr Huger's silence disturbed Williams as he wondered if he did not get the information or if he was hiding something. Williams busted out in rage as he hit the table of Mr Huger as the water from the cup splashed on his face

"Why do you always have to be rude?" says Jinx with pity written all over her face for the old man.

Amelia holds Williams and he leaves the room.
"I will go after him" Amelia steps out.

"What happened in there? You could have at least let the old man speak.

"Am scared of what those pirates would do to Emily. There has never been a good track record about pirates" he says as he glances at Amelia.

"We can't be exactly confident enough. She sighs."You miss her, don't you?"

Williams replies with a hard laugh.
"My only concern is my reasoning for leaving home," he said tutting.

"You won't get it."
