The kids tried pushing the wagon up the hill.

"Great job! We're almost to the top!" chuckled Winnie. She saw Wendy with an empty baby bottle. "Play nice, Wen."

Wendy giggled and hit Winnie's head with her baby bottle.

"Not much fun back there, is it big sis?" grumbled Wanye.

"We're doing okay! That's some good hitting there, Wendy!" chuckled Winnie nervously as Wendy hit her again.

"I'm hungry. Right about now, we would've been eating lunch in the diner," said Dennis.

"Stop it, Dennis. You're making me hungry," whimpered Willie. When the kids reached the top of the hill, they gasped horrifically. There were only loads of trees and bushes. "We can't see the hotel from here."

"I don't see any recognizable areas, trails, or paths either!" whimpered Wanye.

"We're doomed! Doomed, I tell you!" cried Dennis.

A wild bat crony saw the four kids in the distance and snarled.

The Drac Pack was at the area where the truck initially crashed into the forest. Florin examined Stacey's pacifier and picked it up.

"Mr. and Mrs. Stein, I know this is hard for you, but can you identify this binky?" asked Florin, showing the pacifier to Frank and Eunice.

"GASP!" said Eunice.

Dennis cried with his hands on his eyes.

"This is Wendy's fault, right Dennis?" growled Wanye.

"Nuh-uh! This wouldn't have happened if you hadn't put the babies in the wagon back at the hotel!" argued Winnie. "Right, Dennis?"

"Uh... Nuh-uh!" said Dennis.

"It's not our fault our sister's naughty and bad!" growled Willie.

"Wendy's not naughty! She's just a, just a PUPPY!" growled Winnie.

Wendy hiccuped as Wanye grumbled.

"Those hiccups are starting to bug me," grumbled Wanye.

Dennis looked into the forest at the hill's edge and saw some smoke.

"Look! Smoke coming from someone's chimney! Maybe they can help us!" chuckled Dennis, pointing.

"Yeah, but who'd have a house in the forest?" asked Wanye.

"Maybe a wizardess lives there!" said Winnie.

"A wizardess?" said Willie, confused.

"Yeah. A tall woman who grants wishes!" chuckled Winnie. "All we do is knock on the door and tell her we want to go home!"

Winnie tried running toward the wagon but tripped on a pawprint.

"Winnie, are you okay?" asked Dennis worriedly.

"I'm fine. I just tripped on a hole," sighed Winnie.

"It looks like our paws, but only if we were larger," said Willie.

"I saw pawprints like that in one of our books. A bat crony made them. And he ate a Little Red Riding Werewolf girl," said Wanye.

"A bat crony ate a girl?" shivered Dennis.

"Well, they got her out."

"I don't think it's a bat crony. If it were, it would sound like this," chuckled Winnie. She tried to roar, but a louder roar came along. Winnie gasped and stopped.

"That was good," said Wanye.

"I didn't do anything," whimpered Winnie.

The kids heard the roar again.
