Lost In the Multiverse

[After a mistake in the lab, one of Ericka's inventions sends Eunice to another universe of monster Neanderthals and human Neanderthals. The Neanderthal version of Eunice finds the machine and returns to the hotel, leaving Eunice behind. Eunice has to find a way to get back home alone.]

Dracula decided to host a costume party for the adults at midnight. The Drac Pack talked about it at a table.

"Who'll be watching the kids?" asked Johnny.

"Mr. Hyde and Quasimodo will. They'll be at Quasimodo's cottage while we have the party," said Dracula.

"But Dad, if Quasimodo's watching the kids, who'll cook the food?" whimpered Mavis.

"The gargoyle chefs can," said Dracula.

"I'll be a devil," chuckled Wayne.

"Guess I can be an angel then," said Wanda, smiling. She looked at Frank and Eunice. "What are you two gonna be?"

"Uh, uhm," mumbled Eunice, trying to think.

"Cave people!" exclaimed Frank as Eunice gasped. "I think it'd be cute."

"Cute...?" whimpered Eunice, crossing her arms. "I don't think it's cute."

"Caveman and cavewoman costumes would be nice together. Why don't we try it, babe?" asked Frank, smiling.

"Fine," grumbled Eunice, rolling her arms.

Later

The party was going to start in an hour.

Ericka bumped into Eunice in the hallway.

"Sorry to bother you, Eun, but can you get my pirate costume from the lab? I have to use the bathroom real quick," chuckled Ericka nervously.

"Okay. I'll do that," said Eunice, going to the lab.

"Thanks!"

When Eunice went inside the lab, she realized how messy it was.

"Damn, Abraham and Ericka need to start cleaning this dump," whimpered Eunice. She looked around and couldn't find Ericka's costume. "Sigh, is there a closet or something? Why would she put her costume in the lab in the first place?!"

As Eunice looked around more, she saw something like a smaller elevator.

"Oooh. I wonder what that is," chuckled Eunice, going inside. "Ericka won't mind if I take a little long. She'll probably understand since this lab's a mess."

There were lots of buttons and levers on the machine.

"I probably shouldn't touch anything," sighed Eunice, accidentally lying her arm on a lever. The lever went down, and the machine's door closed on Eunice. "HUH? LET ME OUT!"

Eunice yelled and banged on the door but fell over and hit a red button.

"Traveling in ten, nine, eight, seven," said a computer in the machine. Eunice sweated as it counted down, trying to find a way to get out. "Six, five, four, three, two, one. Traveling."

The machine disappeared with Eunice inside.

Meanwhile

Frank waited for Eunice, wearing his costume, as Ericka walked out of the bathroom.

"Ericka, do you know where Eunice is? I don't want her to be late for the party," whimpered Frank.

"Well, I asked her if she could find my costume in the lab, but it's a mess, so probably that's why she's taking so long," explained Ericka.
