"what happened?"

"i lost the baby. I don't want to talk about it so let it go." i huffed rolling my eyes, avoiding her glare.

"Corai, we have to talk about this one way or another. how did the loss affect you?"

"we actually don't, but I'm not paying you to sit around and stare at my face all day, so I'll just leave." i scoff grabbing my bag and jacket to leave her office.

It's been two months since my life turned to shit.

Naamari and I barely talk and every time we do, we argue.

I stopped going out with my friends and I fell into a really dark and deep depression.

I resumed my therapy sessions upon request of my aunt and uncle. I have my good days and bad days where I shut down but I'm slowly progressing.

Not really, but ok.

I left the office building and got inside of my brand new car, that I named Ghost.

I brought her fresh off the lot last week and I'm so happy because I don't have to ask nobody to take me anywhere.

When i stepped foot outside it was starting to get dark, "i hate being out here at night." i sighed, it was daylight savings time so it got dark earlier.

I unlocked the doors and hopped inside starting her up, my phone connected immediately and i shuffled the playlist i was listening to on the drive to the session.

Why by Lizzen played lowly throughout the car. I took a quick video and posted it to my story before logging back out of instagram.

I've been focusing on myself lately, i started going to the gym, taking breaks from social media, and hanging out with my family and taking myself on little dates.

Also, I've been super focused on graduation which is in two months. One thing about it, Mar was right this year flew by so quick.

My mind shifted to him, i wanted so badly to talk to him about what's been going on, but i knew we needed time apart.

I continued my drive to the house, stopping at a red light before turning onto my block. I put my turn blinker on and made the left turn. Pulling up to the house, I seen the familiar cars of my friends and one not so familiar one. 'what are they doing here?' I thought to myself turning my car off and grabbing my belongings.
