He felt like he was choking. What if something happened to Kookie? What if he presented and their father beat him, and this is the hospital calling? He took a deep breath and answered, "Hello?" His voice was wavering a bit, but that couldn't be helped.

"Jin? This is Mr. Han, the Kim's lawyer."

Finally, he felt like he wasn't drowning anymore. "Yes, of course. How are you? Is everything okay with my scholarship? Are they backing out?" Now, a whole new wave of panic was taking over him.

"Everything is fine money-wise, don't worry about that. They put the money in a trust, and the only person that can access it is me, and only for your schooling and lodging. At the end of the year, we'll meet again, and you'll let me know if you need to move or need more money for more classes, etc. But I'm calling about something else."

The lawyer sounded almost desperate, and it made his Omega want to whine a bit. "Oh, and how can I help?"

"The Kims were in a car accident. The parents are awake, but they are still in the hospital; Tae, unfortunately, is still in a coma. I've spoken with his parents and his Doctors, and there's really only one way to help him now. The Kims didn't want me to contact you because you've already done so much, and they felt like this was asking too much of you. So they have no idea that I'm here. I know they want to save their son. Otherwise, they wouldn't have done everything that they've already done."

"What do you need from me?" His Omega was in absolute distress. Over the years, he's almost come to think of Tae as his Alpha, even though he's older than said Alpha. That's what happens when you mix scents too often. Your wolves go attached. He's had to be really careful not to imprint on him. The only reason he hasn't is that he has Yoongi and Yoonji.

"They can't let any outside material into the hospital. So, no personal items like all of the items you scented. He's been without your scent for over a week now, and he's only getting worse. I know this is asking a lot, even more, because this started in a program that keeps you both anonymous. But can you come, sit with him, maybe scent some of the blankets the hospital has to help him?"

He wanted to; he wanted to rush to the hospital right now and help Tae. But he was scared. They had remained anonymous, and he didn't even know what Tae looked like. All he knows is that he smells like amber and he's an only child to rich parents. He was hurt by an Omega he should have been able to trust. "If I don't, will they take away the money?" He whispered, almost embarrassed to say it out loud. But this was the only way to save him and Kookie.

The lawyer took a sharp breath, "no, of course not. It is yours; all parties signed a contract. I understand if you don't want to do this. But it doesn't hurt to ask."

"Okay, send me the details, and I'll go after I finish my school stuff today. But please don't tell anyone that I came or that I'm coming. I know the Kims, and they will try to compensate me for this. They've done more than enough; that's my only stipulation."

Once he got Mr. Han to agree, they hung up. He walked back into the auditorium and sat next to his friends to finish the orientation. But if you asked him anything that happened during it, he wouldn't be able to tell you. Nor would he be able to tell you what classes he signed up for. Because the next thing he knew, he was standing in front of hospital room 613.

Tae was wrapped up; he had gauze covering most of his face. Apparently, the window shattered and cut him fairly badly. And since his Alpha is in so much distress, he hasn't been able to heal properly. The nurse was telling him that he couldn't scent him because he had a neck injury and both of his arms had wires connected to them. The only thing he was allowed to do was scent all the bedding in the cupboard.

They would change his bedding tonight, and his Omega didn't like that. Hi-the Alpha was there in front of him, and they couldn't scent each other. But he couldn't put Tae in more danger, so he listened. He sat next to the hospital bed with a pile of bedding, and he drowned it in his scent while he talked.

He told Tae about the cute little Alpha that was around Tae's age that his bestie Min fell head over heels for in about two seconds. He told him about the apartment, how Kook was going to present soon, and just how much that actually scared him.

He spent a long time there just talking and waiting until the nurse told him that visiting hours were over and that he had to go home. So he leaned over and kissed the gauze over his forehead, and left. Jin had no idea why he did that, but his Omega was demanding it.

That was the last he heard from the Kim's for a bit, he had scented enough bedding to keep Tae good for six months in the hospital. It was overkill, but again, his Omega was demanding it.

When September rolled around, they all held their breath, waiting to see what Jungkook would present as. But as the days of September rolled on by, there were still no signs of it. "Do you think he's a Beta, maybe?"

Jin looked over to the couch where Yoongi was laying down, "I mean he might be. But I just honestly feel in my heart that he's going to be an Omega."

Yoongi sighed as he scrubbed his hand down his face, "I feel like that too. Then why hasn't he presented yet?"

Jimin didn't even look up from his book, "his Omega is hiding."

Both of them turned to look at the youngest Alpha that was sitting on their rug with his back to the couch. He comes to their apartment a lot to hide from his brother, which is hilarious since Joon always comes and fetches him shortly after. "What?"

The youngest Alpha looked up at Jin, "you said that your home life wasn't really safe for you because you are an Omega, right?" Once Jin nodded his head Jimin continued, "then he saw that and his Omega probably doesn't feel safe to present so he's repressing himself until he's safe."

Both Yoongi and Jin looked at each other, "you are an Omega how come you didn't know that?"

"How am I supposed to know? They didn't have special Omega classes in school."

Yoongi looked at Jimin, "you are an Alpha, how did you know that?"

His ears turned bright red, "well since I was trying to graduate early they made me take all kinds of special classes. One of them was gender studies where we learned a lot about all the genders. Since I would be a legal adult once I graduated, being an Alpha and all. I had to take all of them to prove my maturity and stuff. I even had to take a budget class, like I'm not living in the dorms and eating at the chow hall," he rolled his eyes at the last part.

"Do you think that's what it is?"

Jin shrugged, "I mean, it makes sense."

"So theoretically, if he came here for like a week, he might present?"

It made sense, but then he'd just have to go back to that house with that man. And that's something Jin just didn't want. "Maybe it's best if he doesn't present. It'll keep him safe longer."
