Jin had no idea what was wrong with him. He should want this, an Alpha that wants to be fucked. The only issue is he's never really been interested in girls. But she smelled like Tae, just a little different, a little more salty, if that makes sense. But as he sat in the middle of the coffee shop while Da was talking, all he wanted to do was go home and curl up in his nest. The nest that was starting to lose its amber scent.

"Are you even listening to me?" Da growled. She was deep into pre-rut, and her Alpha attitude was coming out in full force.

"I am, and I've told you several times that I changed my mind."

She growled again, "Well, that's too bad. It's too late for me to find another rut partner. So you are just going to have to deal."

Jin sighed as he drank his hot chocolate; no, he wouldn't have to deal. But he didn't know how to get out of there without Da causing a scene in front of everyone. When he first met her, she was really nice. He had been talking to Joon after a class about how he wasn't like other Omegas and how he didn't want to bottom just because Luna gave him slick. He even whined about how much he missed Tae's Amber scent.

Then suddenly, an Alpha with no scent tripped and fell right into his lap. She was blushing and shy, and Jin found it adorable. The next time they met, she apologized for not wearing her scent blocker. She usually does that on campus, so she doesn't agitate anyone. He smelled her amber scent, which was the start of their relationship.

But now she wants more than he's ready to give. And the more her emotions get to her, the fainter her amber scent gets, and it's making Jin's Omega extremely agitated. "So I should hit full rut tonight. We need to get going. Are you finally done with that childish drink yet?"

He opened his mouth to scold her for her taste in coffee and how delicious hot chocolate actually was when it hit him. The scent of Amber was what his wolf had been craving. His head snapped to the entrance of the coffee shop, and there he was. Even if he didn't see his entire face when he visited him at the hospital, he'd know him anywhere. That was his Alpha.

In the next second, he was trapped; Tae had his arms around him, pinning his arms to his side. The Alpha was aggressively scenting him in between purrs. Jin had never heard an Alpha purr before, not even Yoongi, and he was the most Omegan Alpha there was. Tears streamed down Jin's face, and he wanted to hug Tae back and scent him. But he couldn't move.

"Excuse me," Da growled, "get your hands off of my Omega now."

A low growl built in Tae's chest, and Jin could feel the vibrations against his own chest. Tae turned to look at Da while he hid Jin behind his back. It was cute, considering Tae was shorter than he was, and Jin was broader as well. "You have two seconds to leave my sight before I find your Beta friends and convince them to go to the police and report you for what you said earlier."

"What did she say?" Jin whispered, his breath brushing across Tae's neck and making the Alpha shiver in anticipation.

"I'll tell you later when you are in your nest. You are going to need that comfort." He expected Jin to argue, but the Omega didn't. He just squeezed the Alpha's bicep in understanding. "Now leave Da, if you know what's good for you."

When the Alpha screamed before storming through the coffee shop, Tae didn't even have time to be embarrassed about the fact that he scented the shit out of Jin without his permission because Jin looked at him with a confused face and asked, "Please tell me I'm not crazy and she smelled like pickles?"

Tae barked out a laugh, "She was using a scent changer to smell like Amber. She heard you talking about it at some point and used it against you." That was all it took for Jin to shut down essentially. His Alpha went into overdrive, needing to protect his Omega, his mate. Jin was like a puppet. It wasn't hard to direct him toward the Omega's house. What Tae was worried about was how he was going to explain this to his housemates.

Before he could even knock, the door swung open, and standing there was the cutest little bunny-faced Omega, who took one look at his brother and then the Alpha before he started to yell. "What did you do to my brother, you stupid Alpha?"

The Alpha didn't even get a chance to explain himself before another Alpha came out. His cat-like eyes were sleepy, and he pouted as he walked towards the three standing at the door. "Tae?" He asked through yawns. "What are you doing here, and what's wrong with Jin?"

"This is Tae?" The youngest asked as he leaned forward to sniff said Alpha.

Tae was ready to seize up or faint like he usually does when an Omega was around. But it never came. He smelled so much like Jin that it was like their scents were permanently twinged together. You couldn't smell his banana scent without getting a whole lot of chamomile as well. The house was overwhelmingly scented of the seven of them. It was friendly and comforting. It smelled like home to him.

"Yeah," the older Alpha grumbled, "I'm just not sure why he's here."

The bun was still sniffing him, and he pulled back, "I know this scent; this is the scent that's always on Jinnie. It's been gone for a while, though." He turned to look at the older Alpha, "is this the Alpha Jinnie was helping?"

"I'm Yoongi; I think Jin called me Min in your letters. This is Jungkook, his little brother. We call him so many nicknames it's impossible to keep track. Now I'll ask again: what is wrong with Jin?" His Alpha voice was coming out a bit, not that it would have any effect on Tae. But it was nice to see that Jin was so well-loved and protected.

"Da, she's a piece of work. I need to get him to his nest. Let me take care of him, and then I'll explain everything. I promise." That was all Yoongi needed to hear, based on the face he made and how his scent soured. The Alphas were in agreement about her.

He didn't even need to be shown where his room was. The overwhelming scent of chamomile showed him where it was. All he had to do was follow his nose. What did surprise him was how pink the room was and the massive number of Mario plushies. This was a side of Jin he had no idea about. In none of his letters did he ever mention any of that. As soon as they entered the room, Jin's Omega took over. He slammed the door shut and dragged Tae to his nest.

The wall of the nest closest to them was being deconstructed, and before Tae knew what was happening, he was being pushed down onto the bed. Jin crawled over him and started fussing with the nest walls. He reinforced the one at their feet since that was the only exposed area. Tae protected his right, and walls were at their left and head.

While most Alphas would be annoyed to be regulated to nothing more than the equivalent of a blanket, Tae was proud. His Omega trusted him so much that he wanted him to protect him while he was in his nest. It made his Alpha puff out his chest with pride.
