The only reason he followed Ye-ji was because she never sugarcoated anything or lied to him. She told him like it was. Yes, it sucked that he had to smell a lot of scents he didn't like, but if he did it, then they could watch a movie, whatever movie he wanted. He'd eat whatever food he wanted and then cuddled for the rest of the day.

Tae was taken into his parents' office, an office that he used to play in when he was little. He'd hide under the desk when he was hiding from his Nanny. Before the touching started, he was a very happy child. He was still mostly a happy child if he didn't think about his wolf or any wolves, really. Why did they have to be wolves? Why did scents matter? They didn't really matter to his parents; they were Betas. Why couldn't he be a Beta? Life would be so much easier if he were a Beta.

He sat down on the couch and huffed a bit; this was always the worst part. The part where his parents explained that they found another scent and that they wanted him to go into this with an open mind. And they'd hand him a baggie that preserved the scent the most. He'd open it, and it would take everything in him not to either barf, pass out, panic, or attack everyone in the room.

The young Alpha had resigned himself to this life, "Tae, we think we might have found a scent that will work." Yeah, right, he thought, they say this every single time. It's the same speech over and over, "It was actually Ye-Ji that came up with it," that got Tae's attention.

Tae snapped his eyes over to his father, and his mouth dropped open, "what?"

His father smirked, "Oh, finally paying attention. Now that I have mentioned your favorite person, as I was saying, Ye-ji brought something to our attention, and we think it might work. So go into this with an open mind, if not for us, for Ye-ji."

"Of course I will." It was Ye-ji; after all, Ye-ji was his bestest friend; it didn't matter that she was more than ten years older than him and paid to be there. She was still his best friend; she was the one who held him when he was scared and played with him when he wanted to play. She was the maid, but she was more of a nanny than that lady ever was.

He took the sealed baggie from his father and took a deep breath. Ye-ji sat down next to him on the couch. "It's going to be okay, Tae-yah, I promise."

He trusted her; of course, he did. He cracked it open slowly, and a soft apple-like scent hit him. It had an undertone of honey with a hint of hay. It was slightly floral, and it took Tae a second to recognize that it smelled exactly like the chamomile tea that Ye-ji always brings him to calm him down after his fits.

Tae didn't even realize that he was rocking back and forth, practically purring with the cloth shoved in his nose. "Well, I think this is the one."

His mother was already on the computer, "we have to do this quickly before another Alpha signs the contract. He only accepts one Alpha at a time, and I will not lose the only Omega that my son can tolerate."

Tae heard his parents speaking, but he didn't comprehend it. He was so calm and almost sleepy. His Alpha, for the first time, was happy. Is this what happiness is like? "I'm going to take him to his room; we were going to watch a movie. But I think it would be better if he just rested. Maybe rush the next shipment, though. I don't know how long this one will last," Ye-ji was looking at the young Alpha with a fond smile on her face. She loved him very much, almost like he was her own, even if she was too young to have a pup that age.

Jin got the message as soon as he got him and Kook home from school. It was a rush order, and they were willing to pay triple his fee if he was willing to meet their demands. He was to send scented items weekly. He pulled his phone out and called his best friend; he needed to know if this was real. "Read this message I'm sending you. Is this for real?"

Yoongi grunted a bit on the other end of the phone, "Well, hello to you too, yes I did get home safe. Thanks for asking."

"You are an Alpha. Shut up. Read the message. I got an offer."

That seemed to perk the Alpha up, "hold on, let me grab my laptop." There was a bit of shuffling on the other end of the phone, and then he heard Yoongi suck in a breath, "holy shit Jin, that's a lot of money. You better take that. That's enough for you to pay for college and Kook's college if they stick with it."

"I know, I'm not crazy, right? I should do this?"

"Do you, by chance, need a sugar baby that doesn't have to give any sugar?" Yoongi cheeked.

Jin snorted, "We were already planning on living together for college anyway, dumbass. There was no way I was going to college as an Omega without a big bad Alpha as protection." He knew his friend was pouting on the other end of the phone because even though he was an Omega, he was bigger than the Alpha—something he loved to tease him about daily.

"Whatever, you are paying for rent now, so I'll deal with the teasing because my parents are still pissed that I want to pursue music."

Jin frowned a bit; Yoongi's parents were good parents. But they wanted him to have a career that was stable, and they would only pay for his school if it were something along those lines, and music, in their eyes, was not stable. "With this kind of money, I might be able to pay for your school, too," he quipped.

"We'll see when we get to that, sign that contract, dude. Regardless of anything else, it will get you out of that house in three years, and that's what matters."

It was a lot of money. In three years, he'd have enough money to pay for all of his school, and by the time Kook presented, he'd potentially be able to pay for his school as well. He could do this if this gig lasted this long, "maybe they'd be willing to sign a longer contract. Right now, it's month to month. But they are paying a really astronomical amount of money."

"It couldn't hurt to ask, ask if they'd be willing to sign a year-long contract to ensure that you don't get signed by another Alpha since they seem to want you so badly?"

"It doesn't make me sound too desperate?"

Yoongi snorted, "You are 15, dude, you are desperate. But clearly, they are, too, if they are paying that much damn money for you to scent items. By the way, do they provide the items, or do you have to pay for them?" He hummed as he was reading to himself, "because that could get expensive if you have to provide a bunch of shit that you never get back."

"I could ask about that; maybe that's why it's so high?" He slumped a bit; he could always go to the dollar store and buy items there, so it didn't eat up as much of his budget.

"I'm sending the email now." He was chewing on his lip because he was so nervous. They could always say no and not want his services at all. But he was only up on the site 24 hours before he got an offer. He took a deep breath, you can do this, Seokjin.
