September came and went, and then it was time for October. The weather was getting colder outside, and school was getting harder. "Code Dr. Who," Yoongi yelled as he threw the apartment door open in a panic.
His twin causally strolled in behind him and shut the door, "it's barely a code, Vampire Diaries. Hell, I don't even think it's a code, Teen Wolf, if I'm being honest."
Yoongi whipped around and glared at Yoonji. "Shut up," he said, turning back to Jin. His cat-like eyes were wide in a panic. "It's a code, Dr. Who, for sure."
Jin nodded his head, "Okay, world ending, got it. What can I do to help?"
"Jimin's birthday is next week."
Jin groaned, and Yoonji giggled, "See, I told you. It's not even a Vampire Diaries like that's not as bad as the Originals, and it's not even a Teen Wolf because let's all agree that Void Stiles was the best of Teen Wolf."
"Yoongi, she's right. Hell, it's not even a code Full House like, damn, calm down. Plus, I already knew it was his birthday. Joon told me last week in class, he went on and on about the gift he got him." He picked his book back up so he could finish the required reading. Only for Yoongi to plop down in front of him on his knees, and he rubbed his hands together, pleading.
"Please tell me what he's getting him. I have to get him something amazing. My Alpha," Yoongi swallowed sharply, "I can't even look at another wolf without him getting all huffy and jealous. He's decided that's my Alpha. No one else will work."
As much as he wanted to tease the ever-loving shit out of his friend, he couldn't. He could see just how desperate Yoongi was, and it was not fair to let him suffer like this or make fun of him. "He got him tickets to the ballet that's coming in November, The Nutcracker, I believe. Jimin has wanted to see it for a long time, but they couldn't ever get tickets. Apparently, they hold so many aside for students on certain days. So he snagged two for Jimin."
Yoongi slumped down onto the floor, throwing a little mini tantrum that was seriously so adorable. "I can't top that damnit." His eyes landed on his sister, and he grinned. "Yoonji," he said so sweetly.
"Oh, did you finally remember that he's my roommate, and I might have insider info on him?" She stood in front of him, "You know what to do."
As much as Jin enjoyed their fighting, he knew how evil Yoonji could be when she really wanted to be. It was the second child syndrome to the max. Yoongi groaned before bowing all the way to the floor, "Oh please, great Alpha, help me, for you are the wisest amongst us all."
They were both in shock; Yoongi had NEVER done it, no matter what Yoonji held over his head. His Alpha was too proud to bow down to another Alpha, especially his sister. Jin looked at Yoonji and mouthed, holy shit. Holy shit was right. He wasn't lying when he said his Alpha chose Jimin.
"Get up. I was kidding damn. You never do it; I just like seeing you get all pissy about it so we can fight." She tried to pull her brother up from his bow, but he wasn't budging. He was determined to see this through. She fell down on the couch in a huff, "of course, I'll help Yoongi; please get up."
Yoongi got up quickly and sat next to her on the couch and spent the next two hours grilling her about everything Park Jimin, "Yah give it a rest, will you? We need to eat, and you already know his favorite food. It was that noodle dish you made the other day, the one you found on that Italian recipe website."
The Alpha's eyes lit up, "he really liked it that much?"
Jin wanted to roll his eyes so much, "Don't act like you weren't listening from your room. Just because you were too embarrassed to tell him that you made it." Jin chuckled a bit, "That little mochi asked me what restaurant we got it from 50 times before he gave up because I couldn't remember."
"Why don't you just do that?"
Yoongi looked at his sister with his eyebrow raised, "Do what?"
"Show him the restaurant where you got it from?"
"Yoonji," he sighed, "I can't. There's no restaurant, I made it. Weren't you listening?"
"Exactly, this is perfect. We set up the roof of the apartment with fairy lights and a table and chairs. Oh, maybe some candles, and you give him flowers and take him to eat at the restaurant, and then when he asks you where you got it from." She grinned as she scooted closer, "you tell him you made it. Prove that you can be the Alpha he needs in his life."
"It's not a bad idea, Yoongi. You can wine and dine him a bit and prove how great of a mate you'd be in the future."
The Alpha pouted a bit, his scent souring some. "We still don't even know if he likes Alphas. What if I do this, and it backfires? I-I don't know if my Alpha can handle that rejection. It was a dumb idea; you were right, no code, Dr. Who."
"Yoongi," his sister whispered softly as she rubbed his back in soothing circles. "I know that Jimin likes you. He talks about you all the time. I'm not sure if he like likes Alphas, but I know he likes you. Don't go all dooms day before you've even had a shot."
"I just wish I knew if he did. So I could move on or not."
Jin walked over to sit on the other side of Yoongi, his hand going to his knee to squeeze it a bit. "You won't know until you ask. But I mean, you've been courting him for over a month, and he didn't reject it."
"I have not," Yoongi yelled as he stood up and glared at both of them.
Yoonji snorted, "I've seen the shit he brings home. You give him a new paper star every time you see him. He keeps them in a vase on his bedside table."
"He does?"
Yoonji nodded her head quickly, "he also has the receipt from the first time you bought him hot chocolate. Smooth, by the way, buying him so much stuff with your scent. The number of chocolate bars in my room is ridiculous. Did he really need a five-pound Hershey bar, Yoongi?"
The Alpha blushed a bit, "what was I supposed to do when he said that he loved chocolate? That every time I wake up from sleeping on his shoulder, he looks at me and smiles before telling me that he loves having our scents mixed."
She rolled her eyes so hard, "yeah yeah I get that. But still, chill on the chocolate bruh, please."
"I think you have a good shot, Yoongi, but remember, he's turning seventeen."
Yoongi nodded his head quickly, "I do, trust me. I won't do anything to ruin it."
Yoonji snorted loudly and waved her hand to get the other two to ignore her. She was giggling to herself while the other two planned out how they could make this birthday/date work. If only Yoongi knew just how bad Jimin had it for him. How he complains every time Yoongi walks him home and doesn't kiss him.
But she was sworn to secrecy by her bestie, and even though Yoongi is her twin, pinky promises are binding. Plus, seeing her twin squirm is the highlight of her days. But if Yoongi doesn't kiss Jimin after their date, the poor Alpha might be surprised when the younger one tackles him and lays one on him right then and there.
Oh, she couldn't wait to hear both sides of the night. It is going to be so epic. She tuned back into what the two were saying, adding her input where it was needed since she knew Jimin the best.
