Philasande

Healing? healing doesn't take time, instead we just learn to adjust to the pain,well in my perspective of this whole ordeal.
We just arrived at the palace,it's time we tell the elders.
"Hawu Phila,ni la?ansasho man'ehla?", that's my mom ,she says this going to open the door for Wawa
"Totally slipped my mind to tell you we were coming home." No, seriously I forgot.
"Mabalwa,ngelosi yami,isoka lakho laba njani na?", Mabalwa gives her a faint smile and a hug and the duration of this hug is long enough to tell me that she's crying.

Mabalwa

I promised myself I wasn't going to cry when I saw the Queen but this woman's hugs are so warm ,i couldn't help myself.
I'm not dramatically crying,just isbibithwane and sniffles.
I pull out of her arms and I look at her with one arm rested on her shoulder.
"Ma,ninjani?"
"Well I should be asking you that, seeing that you crying, what happened?"
"Alot.",that's all I manage to say.
"Phila?uyi'yenzeni ingane ye thonga?!"
PHILASANDE:"mina futhi?"
and the laugh a bit.
"Asi'ngeneni."
We walk to the lounge and we find ubaba there,reclined and all.
For a king,i never thought I'd find him in a normal grandad position.

"Sawubona baba.",he greets back ngok phaphatha.
"Aw heyi,Makoti?yini laba?"

It's dinnertime and everyone is at the table, everyone consists of myself,my partner,Phiwa and Olothando, i haven't interacted much with her,she seems nice, considering this is my first time meeting her did I mention this woman's beauty?jerrrr hai oPhakathwayo bano Makoti abahle impela not forgetting their princess of course,I've seen Luyanda in the family portraits around the palace.

Philasande

I call for everyone's attention.
"We would like to make an announcement..."
When I see all eye's are now on us...
"A month ago...MaVilakazi had a miscarriage,we didn't know of the pregnancy,it just happened."
I see Mabalwa shaking next to me and I just pull her into my arms and she let's it all out there and then,my mother and Olothando come over to our side of the table really fast and they just hold her , when she's out of my arms,i get up and get upstairs,in the study balcony.
"Bafo."
I hear Phiwa say behind me.
"Bhuti."
"Khala, it's okay to cry,it was your baby too."
It was as if my tears needed that validation,i let it all out there and then.
