𖤐 CHAPTER I - WOTN/TGW𖤐

(A/N: I merged these two episodes, since Y/N didn't really have much of a place in 'Way of the Ninja'.

NARRATOR POV •

It had been quite a while, a few months at least. The band of three Ninja had grown closer, stronger and somewhat smarter. Y/N had even grown to relax around others, although his silence still remained.

Y/N wasn't part of the Ninja, but he was still apart of the team in his own way. Y/N was quite smart, scarily smart actually, which could apparetly be of 'great use in the future' according to Sensei Wu, whatever that meant.

The four were sat around the edge of the Monestary, and it was dark. Very dark, it was late at night.

"Sensei said there would be someone we need to take down." Zane said, as he pulled the hood of his Gi over his head, concealing his face.

"Yeah, a little odd don't you think? Surely he'd be able to take this guy down himself." Cole said, skeptically, as he too pulled his Ninja Gi over his face

"Maybe it is a test." Zane said, as Jay was the final one to pull his Ninja Gi over his head. Y/N stood up, offering a hand to his brother and pulling him up.

"Whatever it is, it'll be a piece of cake. Y/N, you're still our eyes in the sky right?" Jay said, looking at Y/N who nodded before he climbed his way up onto the roof of the Monestary.

As the other Ninja ran off to go and 'deal with' Kai, Y/N sat and watched the court yard. He wasn't really the Ninja's eye in the sky, he was Wu's. He'd been let in on the entire thing, as Wu could count on his silence.

He sat, and watched with a straight face, as the still air made for a comfortable silence in the night. That was, until Y/N spotted Kai on the rooftop. He quietly stood up and walked backwards, trying to let the shadows envelop him before he noticed the other three tackle the brown haired boy to the floor of the Monestary.

Y/N watched on, as Kai, in an attempt to attack the others, turned the training equipment on. The fight continued, the training equipment ofcourse did get in the way. Eventually, the four ended up in a dogpile on the ground.

"Stop!!" Sensei Wu yelled, as Y/N stood from where he was perched and gently jumped down just behind him and clicked the button to put all of the training equipment away.

"Yes sensei." Jay, Cole and Zane all said simultaneously, as Kai grew confused.

"Wait a minute." He paused, "They're your students too?" Wu responded by nodding, "This was my final test wasn't it-?"

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa! You never said anything about a fifth?! It's always three. Three blind mice, three musketeers, three-" Y/N shot jay a dissaproving look, "I mean.. And Y/N too."

Cole sighed, "Uh, what he's trying to say, Sensei is that the four of us have trained together. We're solid."

"Didn't look so solid to me." Kai commented. He got a small dagger past the head, from Y/N of course.

"Master, what is the meaning of this?" Zane asked.

"Each of you four have been chosen. Each in tune with elemental properties, but first. Ninja Go!" Wu said, performing his signature golden Spinjitzu, whilst spinning past each of the four Ninja. This changed their suit colors, and gave them each a weapon.

"Whoa!!" Kai said, looking down at his red Ninja gi, which he was now wearing.

"How'd he do that!?" Cole said in complete shock.

Jay gasped, "Look at what color I am!!" He said, before Y/N, who had walked up behind him, ruffled his fluffy hair, he complained of course.

"Wait a minute.. I'm still black." Cole realised, completely deadpan.
