No one's POV
Andrew running some drills with Coach Patterson tossing a ball at him to catch when a voice takes him out of his focused mode. " Coach can I run a drill?." Losing his focus Andrew turns to see Jesse in disbelief jogging up the field with Coach Morgan not too far behind him.
"Here." Andrew says before tossing the ball at Jesse hitting him in the gut hard. Jesse groans a bit looking up at Andrew " I know you're mad at me but you don't have to be a douche about?."
Andrew turns to him glaring marching up to him " I'm not mad I'm livid." Getting in Jesse's face "My brother had a bullet removed from his chest that left a scar that lasts forever he has nightmares every damn night I have every right to be upset he could've died."
Jesse scoffs " And you're blaming me? I didn't do anything how was I supposed to know that would happen You are mad at me than the guy who did it."
Andrew laughs getting in his face " You're lucky I didn't kick your ass when I wanted to."
Coach Morgan blowing his whistle. " Stevens Summers separate." They don't move a muscle just staring each other down. " NOW!!." He shouts.
Andrew scoffs leaving the field and jogging to the locker room " Let him cool off." Coach Patterson says " Summers get in position."
Andrew grabbed his gym bag turning a corner to see Coach Morgan " I don't want to talk to you." Walking around Coach Morgan with his arms crossed he says " You need to talk to someone you could've taken his head off out there."
Andrew shakes his head "You wouldn't understand you don't know how it feels to close your eyes and see your brother bleeding out in front of you."
Coach Morgan leaning against the wall " Yeah I don't know how that feels per-say but I know how it feels to witness someone so full of life turn into someone he doesn't want to be, look Andrew I know you are scared and don't know who to blame. But Jesse is telling the truth he's been going through a lot I know that doesn't change anything but he's telling the truth." Making Andrew stop in his tracks.
Coach Morgan taps his pocket as Andrew turns to him Morgan takes out a folded paper out of his pocket " Jesse didn't know if it was right to give this to you for Elijah to read but I know he would want you to have this he's truly sorry about what happened."
Handing the folded paper to Andrew who takes it " I'll uh...give it to Eli and see what he says." Grabbing his bag and left the locker room with Coach Morgan following behind onto the field with Andrew leaving.
