No one's POV- later that afternoon
Bianca has kept a low profile since break even having a very limited number of people only family at her 17th birthday party even ignoring Natasha who's been trying to reach out to her since homecoming getting no response not even when she sent her a happy birthday text.
Natasha got out of her car with her purse over her arm walked up the driveway and walkway to the front door knocked on it she heard footsteps from inside the doorknob turned as the door opened Bianca came into view " Nattie what are you doing here?." She asks leaning out the door and looking back and forth making sure no one followed her here.
Natasha pouted a little bit looking at Bianca worriedly " You've been ignoring me since homecoming I know you wouldn't be at school but I wanted to at least check if you were okay I was worried can I come in?." She asks Bianca opens the door letting her in.
Natasha walls in with Bianca closing the door behind her " I'm okay.... I just don't want all the questions and rumors to start about what happened at homecoming I didn't want to hear or see anyone I wasn't doing it intentionally but I just needed a break from everything." Going to the couch Natasha follows putting her purse on the table sitting next to her on the other side.
Natasha sees something is wrong with Bianca she's not acting like herself " B you can talk to me what's going on? I know it's something bigger and deeper going on with you isolating yourself from the world even me." She says taking her hand squeezing it and rubbing it softly making her relax a bit.
With her hand in her hair, Bianca taps the other hand on her thigh, shaking a bit " I didn't want to hear the rumors that I know started." Letting out a sigh " There's certain things that are going to be said about me and some of them may or may not be true I just don't want you to hate me."
Natasha frowns getting more worried getting closer to her " What are you talking about B? You're scaring me." Bianca looks up at Natasha with her eyes going red tears start to fall from her eyes a little.
" There is something I need to tell you about that night at homecoming I did something... really bad I just don't want you to hate me." Natasha grabs both of her hands wanting to hear more uneasy about what she's going to hear.
" I knew the guys who shot Elijah and Jesse the person I was texting was the guy who threatened Jesse that I told you about I tried to stop his attack but as you can see it didn't work, So when I left your side seeing the gun that was dropped putting it in my purse that's when I left you. I went to his place looking for him I was so angry and upset that all of this happened all because I didn't stop it earlier I shot him or someone I thought was him." Breaking down completely with Natasha pulling her into a hug.
Rubbing her back she let her cry into her shoulder not knowing want to say " It's okay You okay Bea I can never hate you don't blame yourself for this You did what you thought you needed to do." Bianca pulled away from Natasha wiping her face and trying to compose herself.
" I don't regret shooting whoever I shot but I do regret not paying enough attention to you I enjoyed spending time with you that night everything I said to you was real."
Natasha wiped her tear-stained face smiling at her " Even when you crying you still look beautiful as always everything I told you that night was me telling you how I felt I do care about you Bea I.... want to be there for you however you want me to be."
There's a knock at the front door both girls get up Bianca goes first unlocking the door to see a female police officer there " Can I help you, Officer?." The officer takes off her hat " I'm Officer Smith Are you Bianca Desousa?." Bianca nods " This is she."
