after spending a day with minho I hear my phone go off. it's minho asking to talk to me about something and to come to his room.
it was a bit weird but maybe he needed me for something so I go over. I knock on his door then go in "hey you needed to talk? what's up?" I ask "yea um.. this is gonna take a while for me to fully get the words out so.. bare with me here" he says looking a bit nervous "woah you look like you just saw a ghost hun what's wrong?" putting my hand on his shoulder.
"yea it's just.. I want to tell you something and I'm not sure how your gonna take it I mean I'm not even used to feeling this way" he says
"it's ok hey take your time." I say I see him taking a few seconds for him to calm himself down. "I... nevermind." he says which now gets me curious "minho come on you can tell me you know how much I hate when people that" I say laughing a bit. "I know but I can't tell you now." he says keeping his head down "well then when can you tell me?" I ask "when I'm confident to do so." he says "alright then I'll wait" I say smiling. "do you wanna go out for a walk? it's getting late and it might be calming to get some quiet." I say standing up "sure yea let me just get my jacket" he says. after waiting we go out the door and see nothing but street lights on and no cars on the roads. just quiet.
after a while of me and minho walking around we decided to go back home and when we do we both say goodnight to each other.

the next morning I woke up to the sun shining in my eyes. when I get up I suddenly remember what minho was going to say but got cold feet at the end.
i wonder what he wanted to tell me.
now that's gonna bother me for the day. when I get dressed and did everything else I go outside of my room and was bombarded by the boys.
"suprise!" they all scream "guys what the hell is this?" I ask laughing a bit "for your birthday.. you remember your birthday right?" chan says "no I do its just my birthday isn't for a few days why celebrate now?" I ask "duhhh!! so we can spoil you rotten" felix says making me laugh. I then lock eyes with minho then I smile at him and he smiles back.
"guys I'll be back hold on one second" minho says before he runs to his room and comes out with really pretty flowers with boxes of chocolates.
I gasp "are these for meee??" I ask "uh well.. yea. happy birthday.. well early birthday but yea you get it.." he says "I do thank you mr. grumper" I say "you call me that again the flowers and chocolate are gone." he says "sorry" I say with my laughing fading. "oook well we all got you gifts look!" seungmin says taking out gifts from each one of the members got me.
"aw guys this is too sweet" I say bringing my hands up to my mouth. "you're our best friend laya you deserve this more than anyone." jisung says
"aw thank you guyss but uh are we gonna open these now or..?" I joke "ok ok open whatever" felix says "just.. open mine last" minho says which everyone looks at him "what did you get me a cup with your face on it?" I say. everyone laughs "no just open mine last" he says "well alright... first gift!!!"

after I opened everyone's gifts It finally left minho's gift to be last. "ok min's gift lastly as requested" I say removing the wrapping paper from the bag to see a teddy bear "oh this is so cutee oh my gosh look at her bows!!" I say "i'm gonna name her... mookie" I smile "what is it with you naming everything?" minho asks "uh hello I am appreciating your gift don't get grumpy with me" I say "but this is really cute I love it" I say smiling "there's one more thing at the bottom of the bag look." he says "I look at him suspiciously but then pulling a black velvet box out. I open it and it's the same bracelet I saw in that shop me and minho went to a few days ago.
"no you didn't." I say putting my hand over my mouth minho laughs a little bit "well.. put it on" he says but I just sit there "min this costed so much this is so not funny, I mean if this were a stand up show you'd really be sucking" I say "stop yapping and just put it on" he says "ok ok.. putting it on." I say taking it out of the box and putting it around my wrist. "let me see let me see!!" the members say I show them the bracelet and they all are telling me how it's suits me so well and it looks really good on me.
I went over to minho and hug him he's shocked for a second but hugs me back "thank you so much min I love it so much!!" I say pulling away "let me see how it looks." he says I then show him "it really does suit you." he says "I'm already loving this week and it isn't even my actual birthday."
after a little while looking at my gifts the boys got me I heard the doorbell "I'll get it!" minho says and when he opens the door his face immediately changes. the person at the door was my ex. "what on earth are you doing here leo?" he says "look man I'm only here for laya." he says "she doesn't need you ruining this day for her or any day for that matter."
minho says trying to close the door but leo stops it with his foot.
"look I don't know if laya told you already but me and her recently started talking again." leo says obviously lying. "what?" minho says "she didn't tell you?" leo asks "well we started talking and she agreed to go out with me today so.. here I am." minho suddenly leaves to his room leaving leo out in the hallway "hey what's wrong? who was it?" I ask but he doesn't answer instead he slams the door to his room then I get up to see if the person at the door was still there and sure enough they are.
"leo?!" I say "what are you doing here!?" "come on laya.. please.. take me back." leo says "no! you think just because you have everything girls will just flock over to you? what the fuck is wrong with you." I say slamming the door in his face. I then make my way to minho's room knocking on it first "go away" he says "min it's me please just let me come in." I say after a few seconds of silence minho opens the door finally, I go inside.
"min-" I try to say but he cuts me off "what was he doing here laya?" he asks "I had no idea he was gonna show up like this please believe me min.." I say "I don't know lay I mean I was just this guy talking about how you guys started talking again.. I mean what the fuck?!" he says "he said that? I- minho you have to believe me.. I'm not in contact with him nor will I ever be after what he did to me."
"and what about the flowers and the chocolates earlier today? was there not a moment between us?!" he says slightly raising his voice. "there was! I'm not denying there wasn't! I'm not complaining either." I say then the room fell silent for a second before minho comes up to me trying to kiss me but I pull away "what are you doing?" I ask "will you just shut up?" he says before he kisses me passionately I feel myself matching his every movement. but in the middle of the kiss he pulls away "min?.. what's wrong?" I ask.
"I just .. can we forget this ever happened? please?" he says I stand there in shock because he seems like he wanted this and plus he was the one to make the first move. I feel as thought my heart was getting broken by each word that came out of his mouth
"oh." I finally say not knowing what to say at all. "I'm sorry but it's just i don't know if we'll ever work out I mean.. me and you totally different people. I mean I have no idea about relationships and dating. I'm sorry it's just.." "okay." I say trying to hide my hurt "I don't mean to hurt you.." he says.
"well your doing it right now." I say before I leave his room closing the door on my way out.
