Chapter 50
Not in a usual routine, I woke up in a different time again.
I slightly opened my eyes to welcome the ray of light, coming from the little window of the room. Based on the sunlight, I know it's still morning. So I woke up at my usual pace, but still felt different. Because it's cold. Or maybe because it's ber months already. Lumingon ako sa tabi ko, and Wyatt was not by my side.
After a few minutes of silence I decided to get out of bed. I'm trying to find my sleepers when the door opens. I didn't even have to check who opened it so I just continued finding my sleepers because it's cold.
I bent down to look for it under the bed frame, napangiwi ako dahil madilim at wala akong makita.
I heard the bed move. I turned to him who was smiling lightly sitting on our bed, just inches away from me. The heat of his palm, sent warmth to my cold body. That's how I realized how cold my skin was, and I am starting to shiver. I should've turned off the aircon earlier.
"Mornin," he greeted sweetly, ignoring my tone.
"M-Morning... I'm just looking for my sleepers." sagot ko at nagpatuloy na sa paghahanap.
He was just sitting on the bed watching me. Hindi ba busy 'to?
I found it under the carpet. Hinila ko iyon kasama iyong isa. Paano 'to napunta rito? Grabe naman! I stood up straight so I could wear it, when memories flashed through my mind from last night. I froze with my movements, and my face was covered in heat and redness.
"Hey, are you okay?" tawag sa akin ni Wyatt, dahil bigla akong hindi gumalaw. Marahan akong tumango sa kanya bago lumapit.
"O-Oo... inaantok lang." palusot ko.
He grabbed my hands and pulled me closer to him. My hands are placed on his shoulders while I am standing between his thighs. He angled his head to look at me, as he wrapped his arms around my waist.
"I am serious about last night. Be careful when you're outside Eanah." the tone of his voice suddenly turned serious. His stares were still deep and it's making my insides churn.
Tumango ako na parang bata. "A-Alam ko, sorry na nga.."
The side of his lips rose until it turned into a small smile.
"You're making fun of me." I concluded coldly.
He pouted his lips to suppress it from smiling, but it irritates me more. Pang asar naman!
"No." he held me closer. "I just find it cute.
Was it wrong? Or do I say it wrong? Maybe I am having a struggle with our transition and friends to couple?
"B-Bakit?
