"Wow! This place is beautiful!" You gauked at the scenery. Sun Wukong had given you a tour of certain parts of the island, each one more breath taking than the last. "Yep. This is my home-sweet-home!" Wukong agreed while reclining on his cloud.

"It must have been amazing to grow up here!" You whispered. "Beautiful scenery! Big or little adventures! Exploring everything! Not many rules!" You sat down and watched the sky. "Eh. When you're born and raised in a place like this, it seems exciting but, when you grow as old as me, it can get bland, sometimes." Wukong shrugged off the compliment.

You rolled your eyes and watched the birds that passed by. It was amazing, here. It was peaceful and calm. It was beautiful and vibrant. If you weren't careful, you'd probably forget why you were here in the first place. Wait! I still need to get the groceries! It'll be harder without the list, but you're sure you can remember some!

You stood up and started to walk away. "Where are you going?" Monkey King asked. "As much as the scenery is beautiful, I still need to gather groceries." You explained. "Bah. It's fine! I'm sure MK's got you covered!" The monkey tried to brush it off. But, you gave him a look that spoke your thoughts.

Monkey King sighed. "Fine! We can start searching for the fruits here, then I'll check on MK and see how he's doing." He agreed reluctantly. You smiled at him, then started your scavenging, which, if it weren't for Wukong, would have taken forever just to find the plants.

"Because I don't have the list," You gave the monkey a small glare. He shrugged, nonchalantly. "I'm going to make a guess on the fruits, based off of memory and common use." You explained your idea. "K." "So~... Raspberries." "Done!" Wukong made raspberries appear out of seemingly nowhere.

"Blackberries." "Check!" He brought a whole bush. You just stared in slight shock. "What? The bush is prickly! And I don't feel like getting pricked by thorns right now!" Wukong spoke. You shook your head and continued the list. "Bananas." "Done." He answered while eating one banana. And so the process continued as you listed the fruits.

You stared at the large pile of fruit Wukong had gathered. "Okay, don't take this the wrong way but, I think this might be a little... excessive." You carefully phrased. "Bah! You can never have too much fruit!" Wukong leaned on your shoulder and examined his work.

"Maybe for you." You mumbled. "What's that supposed to mean?!" He asked, acting slightly offended. "Um... Maybe that you're an immortal monkey while I and my grandparents are mortal human beings." You explained. "Oh!" Wukong realized your point.

"Monkey King!" MK startled you and the simian beside you. "Sorry! But I got everything on the list!" MK smiled. You smiled at the young adult. "Thank you! How much do I owe you?" You pulled out your wallet, hoping you had enough cash. "Nah! It- It's fine." MK brushed off your offer.

"Nope. I insist. We may be becoming friends but, even friends ought to pay back debts." You insisted, and handed him a twenty. "Thanks." MK gave a cheerful and awkward grin. Wukong suddenly jumped on to your shoulders, nearly knocking you over. "Great! You two are friends! Yay! Now, we just need to get everything back to your place so we can spend the rest of the day together having fun!"

You smiled for a moment, then your eyes widened in worry as you realized a problem. How were you going to get everything back home? You grabbed at your hair. "Oh, flipper-flapper! How am I going to get everything home?!" You asked. "Um... We didn't really think this through." MK rubbed the back of his neck.

"Hmm." The three of you hummed in thought. "I think... I have an artifact... That could help us." Monkey King spoke up slowly. "It'll probably be with all my other stuff, most likely, but the key word is think! And he's gone." Wukong sighed. It took you a minute to realize what he meant. MK had run off towards his mentors junk collection.
