"Ouw!" the creature spoke, rubbing his back. You had know clue what to think right now. A monkey? That can talk?! In my orchard!?! Stealing my fruit!!?!! You were a little angry, and a little freaked. It's a talking monkey, for goodness sake! For some reason, you threw the apple in your hand at him. Instinct? Delayed reaction?

"Ouw! Hey!" the monkey turned to you. He looked human like, but not. He was as big and tall as any normal human, but had distinct monkey features. Golden brown fur; old Oriental style clothing; two large ears, one on either side; a peach shaped mark on his face; and golden eyes.

"What was that for?!" He asked you. "Uh- I- uh- ummm- uh-" was all you could stutter. "You alright there?" He asked. You didn't know what to do. You were scared, shocked, and half believed that you were dreaming. "I won't hurt you. If that's what you're thinking." He spoke softly. "A- a t- talking m- monkey!?!" You said at last.

"Huh? Oh! Ha! Yeah~" he said awkwardly. "You probably don't see talking monkeys a lot, do you." He chuckled. You shook your head. I can't believe I'm talking to a talking monkey, in my grandparents orchard. Then it sunk in, why you threw the apple at him, why you went around the tree to see him, why you were angry. "You- you stole!" You suddenly shouted, angrily. "Uh, no. I borrowed." The monkey cockily replied.

"Oh, really? Then when are you going to return those apples?" You pointed, folding your arms and leaning against the tree. "Easy. I-" he stopped. He saw your point. You knew he saw your point. "I'll replace it!" he changed his answer. "Okay then. I'll see you tomorrow with the replacements." You said as you started to leave.

"Wait!" he called. You paused, and turned towards him. "What's your name? You know, so I know who to return too." he said with a small, sweet smile. His smile made you realize how cute he was. Not like crush cute, like a baby cat or dog cute. You smiled. "Y/n." His cheeks grew a faint shade of pink on them. "Y/n, nice name." he said.

He then flipped, landed on his summersault? cloud, and flew off. You jaw was agape. He just flew! Since when could monkeys fly? On that note. Since when could monkeys talk? You were confused, but you shrugged it off. If you really wanted to know, you could ask him tomorrow.

You started walking back to your grandparents farm house. You figured that you had enough craziness for one day.
