CHAPTER - 17

Present time :-

Tae went to his home and saw his father beating his mom again with a stick. His mom was crying and begging him to stop. Seeing the view tae shouted

Taehyung - DAD !

Mr. Kim who was beating his wife without any mercy stopped , and looked behind with a creepy smile on his face to see his son who was standing behind him.

Mr. Kim - taehyung my brilliant son how are you?

Taehyung - stop beating my mom

Mr. Kim - oh you want me to stop beating this bit-

Taehyung shouted - MR. KIM

Mr. Kim clenched his fist listening to tae and laughed madly before saying

Mr. Kim - taehyung my dear son why are you always like this to your father huh? Don't you remember the punishment i gave you the following day? You want me to remind you again?

Mr. Kim's words brought shivers down tae's spine. He step back in fear but got shocked when his mom finally groaned from back

Mrs. Kim - D-DONT YOU DARE LAY YOUR FINGER ON MY SON

Mr. Kim yelled at his wife - what did you just say?

But surprisingly mrs. Kim yelled back

Mrs. Kim - I SAID DON'T YOU DARE TO TOUCH MY TAETAE EVER AGAIN OR ELSE I WON'T THINK TWICE BEFORE CUTTING YOU IN PIECES

This was the first time when mrs. Kim raised her voice on her husband which made both tae and his dad shook

Mr. Kim shouted madly - you'll cut me? BITCH I'M YOUR HUSBAND

Mrs. Kim said with a hurtful voice

Mrs. Kim - you were my husband but not anymore

Mrs. Kim's statement made tae and his father beyond just shocked

Mr. Kim - what do you mean?

Mrs. Kim went to her room and came back with some legal papers in her hand and hand it over to her husband.

Mr. Kim with a confused , shocked and mad voice - what the hell is this?

Mrs. Kim - this is our divorce paper , i have already signed it.

Mr. Kim was unable to even utter a single word and same was going with tae he was speechless but still mr. Kim managed to speak

Mr. Kim - yo-you are l-leaving your husband

Mrs. kim said while tears were escaping from her eyes.

Mrs. Kim - i tried so hard kim , i tried so fucking hard to save our marriage but nothing worked and now i'm so tired of waiting for my husband to come back to me.

Mr. Kim - i'm your husband whom are you waiting for? can't you see i'm here standing infront of you?

Mrs. Kim - no you're not the one i married , you are not the one i fell in love with. [ mrs. Kim chuckled bitterly ] My husband used to love me. He promised me that he'll keep me like his most precious treasure. He told me that he won't make me shed a single tear of sorrow. The person i loved was not an animal like you are mr. Kim ji woo. You know i was fool to think that you'll realise your mistake someday but an animal like you would never ever regret it. Actually no i was selfish , i was so selfish that just for my stupid love i let my son suffer. I let you , i let a beast like you to beat my child and i never fucking protect my baby from a monster like you.

She looked at her son and said

Mrs. Kim - Taetae i know i'm the worst mom but don't worry i-i won't let him touch you anymore. I promise i'll be the best mom from now on. Just give me a last chance tae. Just a last chance please.

Mrs. Kim sat on floor while sobbing tae who was crying silently ran towards his mom and hugged her tightly saying

Tae - no mom , you are the best mom. I love you the most mom.

Mr. Kim got furious seeing them hugging each other lovingly but he knew that mrs. Kim would really cut him into pieces if he lay his finger on tae. And tae was also capable of breaking his bones but the only reason he never did anything to him was because his mother had took a promise from him for not to do anything to mr. Kim. So he went from there thumping his foot and clenching his fist angrily leaving them alone in each other's embrace.

After sometime they pulled away whipping each other's tears.

Mrs. Kim - i'm sorry tae . Forgive me please

Taehyung - it's okay mom. I'm so happy that you finally spoke up for us.

Mrs. Kim - i should have done it long ago

Tae - it's okay mom. Finally we are free now.

Mrs. Kim while chuckling - yes baby don't worry i won't let him to do anything to my baby bear.
