Five years later :-
A man was working in his office when he got a call.
?? - TAEHYUNGGGGGGGGG ! If you're not here in half an hour then i won't be able save your ass from aunty this time.
Tae - stop yelling jimin , I'll be there on time
Jimin - come soon everyone is waiting for you.
Tae cut the call and headed towards his home.
Taehyung entered his home which was beautifully decorated. Jimin was greeting the guests when he saw tae and came to him.
Jimin - you're late tae
Tae - sorry
?? - you should be
Tae looked at the lady who was none other than mrs. Jeon. He hugged her and said
Tae - aunty help me please
Mrs. Jeon - no one can save you today
Mr. Jeon also joined them
Mr. Jeon - you're late tae
Tae - uncle atleast you don't say like this.
Jimin - now go to her she is waiting for you
Tae went to her room. He opened the door and saw her sitting on the chair looking beautiful in a white gown.
Tae - most beautiful bride i have ever seen.
Listening to him she glared at him saying
?? - you're late tae
Tae - I'm sorry mom
Tae's mom - all you think about is your work. How can you be late on your mom's wedding?
Tae said with a big ass pout
Tae - and how can you yell at your son on your wedding?
Tae's mom - taeeeee
Just then jimin entered the room.
Jimin - sorry to interrupt you aunty , you may beat him all you want later but right now you need to come out. My uncle is waiting for you.
Tae looked at his mom and smiled at her.
Tae - let's go mom
Tae's mom - tae am i doing the right thing
Tae - ofcourse mom you're going to be mrs. Park now. I have seen the same love in uncle park's eyes that i saw in my kookie's. He will give you all the love and respect that you deserve.
Tae's mom's eyes glisten a bit. She smiled and said
Tae's mom - let's go
Tae's mom took vows with mr. Park and now she has became mrs. Park. Everyone was happy for mr. and mrs. Park. Mr. Park wasn't leaving a single chance to compliment his wife which was making her a blushy mess infront of everyone.
Taehyung was looking them from balcony. His eyes were shinning and lips were smiling looking his mom happy.
Jimin came to him with two glasses of wine in his hands , handing over one to him he said
Jimin - miss him ?
Tae - i always do
Jimin - what have you done to yourself tae , you have became a workaholic now.
Tae sighed heavily and said
Tae - jimin you know kookie used to think that his dad doesn't care about his noona and that's why after she died , he always used to be busy with his work but now i know why he used to work all the time , why he became a workaholic after his noona died.
Jimin - why ?
Tae took the sip of wine and said
Tae - he was feeling guilty , he was missing her so much that it was killing him and to divert his mind from his daughter's death he used to work. He became workaholic not because he loved his work but because he was suffering inside and didn't want his wife and son to see him like that.
Jimin - and you're doing the same
Tae looked at jimin and smiled
Jimin - stop it tae , stop punishing yourself now. It was not your fault.
Tae took an another sip of wine and said
Tae - i read his dairy , he was willing to live. And i know my bunny he would have survived only if i was there with him. You know i still have that gucci bag , i hate that bag because it took my bunny's life but i can't throw it away because my bunny has gifted it to me. It's all my fault jimin. I took his life.
Jimin - you didn't tae
Tae nodded his head in denial and said
Tae - you're lying , you pity me that's why you're saying this.
Jimin sighed , he knew that tae will not listen to him , he never did in these five years. Jimin regret blaming tae for jungkook's death , taehyung's painful eyes always make jimin pity him.
Jimin - do you still listen to those five billie eilish songs everyday before going to bed?
Tae - i do
Jimin - and his dairy too?
Tae nodded
Jimin - you miss him but never visit to his grave. When will you visit him tae?
Tae - tomorrow
Jimin - why tomorrow?
Tae looked at his mother and her newly wedded husband and said
Tae - i will kill you if your uncle let my mom shed a single tear.
Jimin - don't worry about him , he loves your mom so much.
