"I choose peace"the man said softly after thinking for a while.

"So you telling me I have been trying my hardest to speak French when you can speak Eldian," I said a bit infuriated at the thought that I didn't have to go to the trouble of relearning French to talk to this man
I sighed and shrugged my shoulder before I gave him my hands while saying "Then let's make an alliance so no blood may be shed"
He accepted my hands before he said "May our alliance last a long time"
"May our alliance last long," I said while shaking his hands
Now we continue where we left off
Inside a huge building in France, there was a party going on, it seemed like they were celebrating something.
Inside the house people wearing fancy clothes were seen as they were drinking wine and eating the food that was offer.
There was an all-you-could-want buffet happening and people seem to be enjoying themselves.
If you could look closely you could see a caramel skin man talking to a girl with black hair.
There was a blond man that was walking around and talking with people, probably making some bonds and getting some connection his French seem perfect as if he spoke it his whole life.
When in reality he only spent 4 to 6 months learning it, There was a very short man that you could think was a child if you look at him from the back but if you see his face you could tell he was an adult.
He was speaking to berating a teenager who looked around Jack's age while he seemed like he was keeping an eye on a woman who was wearing glasses.
The woman look amazed at seeing everything and looked like she would have done some wild stuff if she wasn't getting watches.
After all the guests had entered and we were starting to eat some of the snacks while drinking some alcohol a man wearing a suit took a glass before he hit it with his fork making some noise and getting everybody's attention.
"Je souhaite la bienvenue à tous ceux qui sont venus ici aujourd'hui," The man said after he got everybody attention(Translation. I would like to welcome everyone that came here today)
"cette fête est pour célébrer notre alliance avec le peuple eldien" The man said again with a smile on his face,he seemed rather happy to announce that, as if their name were erased from some sort of death book.(Translation. this party is to celebrate our alliance with the Eldian people)
"alors aujourd'hui, je suis heureux de dire que nos alliés sont venus nous rendre visite et ce soir, ils sont nos invités."The man said looking at the teenager with caramel-like skin that was still talking with the black hair girl that now seemed flustered. (translation. so today I'm happy to say that our allies came to visit us and tonight they are our guests.)
The teenager noticing the attention was now all on him just smiled and just waved at them, it seemed like the man was not overwhelmed by the number of people looking at him.
"J'espère que vous les traitez avec le respect qu'ils méritent, montrez-leur comment nous, les Français, accueillons les gens"The president said to his people this time.(Translation. I hope that you guys treat them with the respect they deserve, show them how we French welcome people)

After that short speech the party went back to normal but now,I was having to talk with a lot more people and I did talk with them for like a few minutes to make short conversation and not be a dick.
But I mostly spend my time looking around the place and talking with Mikasa,a shame I couldn't bring Historia but Erwin is here,Levi is also,Hange is here too and that mostly everybody that I trust could take control while I'm gone.
I mean sure Pieck could of try to do it but if I'm being honest that not going to work for a lot of reasons with the first reason being that, she was not born in the walls which is stupid and dumb but that seem like a way to keep outsiders from getting into power.
Historia on the other hand, has royal blood was born in the wall, is the wife of the king and has learned how to govern, which basically fit all the criteria that need to be fit.
There also the fact that she can probably beat most of them to death while suffering zero consequences, so you know there is that.
I walked toward where the sweet where before I took two cupcakes one vanilla and a chocolate one, I then walked toward Mikasa before I offer to pick on.
She choose the vanilla cupcake before she thanked me and a small smile made itself on my lips as I open my mouth and said "Who would thought you loved to eat white stuff"(A/N if she had chosen the black one he would of said something along the line of you sure do love the color black in your mouth, so either way, she was going to get teased)
I got a punch for my remark but it was worth it and I would do it again if need be even if now my left hand felt numb, it was worth it.
Seeing her so flustered was nice and I regret nothing now, although now some people seem to be paying a lot of attention to us, I just laugh a bit.
"What I was just making a remark," I said softly as I touched my left hand which was now numb.
