The next day, Fee arrived at school an hour before school started. She decided to stop by the library to catch up on some homework before classes started. It was a pain that her teachers were already assigning homework on the first day of school, but she was rather bored and had nothing better going on. Fee made her way to a table and chose to sit in front of the windows that showed a view of the sports field and gardens.
Fee took out her calculus homework and put her earbuds in as she picked out a song from her phone, Not Allowed by TV Girl.
Fee had finished maybe about a page or two when she noticed a chair slide out from next to her.
She looked up to see Toji casually placing his backpack down on the table and taking a seat next to her. He wore the same uniform as yesterday but his hair looked like it was still a bit wet from his shower.
"Hey buttercup," He grinned widely, leaning his body over the table.
"What are you doing in the library this early?" Fee curiously asked.
Toji put a finger to her mouth, shushing her with a smirk on his face, "Shh. It's a library." Fee rolled her eyes and frowned. In the corner of her eyes, she saw Nanami approaching through the library. This was very unexpected.
"Is Lola here?"
Nanami slightly shook his head, taking a seat next to Toji, "No, she's on her way." Nanami mumbled as he put out his cigarette, earning glares from the librarian.
"Oh," Fee said, a little disappointed, hoping Lola would arrive soon. She looked around awkwardly as she was surrounded by the two men, especially Nanami who she never saw him not grumpy.
"What?" Toji asked, noticing her discomfort.
"I just wasn't expecting you to come so early, but yet again I just met you." Fee started rambling as Toji just started laughing.
"Trust me, I'm full of surprises," Toji winked earning a glare from Nanami who finally looked up from his phone.
"Already trying to get in the new girls pants." Toji let out a laugh, one hand placed against his heart to calm himself down.
"As much as I already adore Fee, she's not my type," Toji huffed out, crossing his arms while sulking in his chair. "No offense buttercup."
"None taken," Fee joked as he gave her another wink. Before Nanami continued to glare at the boy.
"Stop being so grumpy when you're girlfriend isn't here, bitch." Toji teased Nanami. The mention of Avery made Nanami roll his eyes. Fee stared at the two confused.
"Are you and Avery dating?" She quietly asked. She still hadn't met Avery but from what she had seen at lunch yesterday, she wouldn't be surprised.
Nanami was about to respond before Toji cut him off.
" He's too much of a pussy to ask her-" Nanami raised his hand, causing Toji to flinch and immediately shut up. Nanami looked amused at his reaction and put his hand down.
"Speak again and I'll kill you." Nanami threatened the boy.
"Is that a threat?!" Toji gasped, a hand placed over his heart.
"Did it sound like a compliment?" Nanami shot back, furrowing his eyebrows at the idiotic man next to him.
As the two continued to bicker, she heard the library door open, revealing the blonde haired girl she knew was Avery and Gojo. Gojo scanned the table as his gaze rested on Fee's, but once the two made contact, Fee immediately looked down at her homework while her cheeks started heating up.
