"We never learn, we've been here before."

Lola groaned as she felt a ringing in her ear, creating a pounding ache in her head. Her body was still drugged but was wearing off painfully slow. Her vision spun for a brief moment before she was able to make out where she was. She attempted to stand up, but quickly realized she was restrained by a pair of handcuffs, reminding her of the last time when she was kidnapped, but her legs gave out underneath her, leaving her vulnerable and weak.

A snicker from across the dimly lit room snapped Lola's attention as she glanced over, squinting to make out the person. Her eyes widened when she noticed Avery leaning against the rustic wall, restrained from the metal handcuffs. Lola took in her appearance, noticing a black eye formed on her right eye, squeezing it shut. Her swollen lip had dried up blood and a nasty bruise in the smack center of her throat. Lola cringed internally at the sight, assuming Avery had put up a fight before getting taken.

"What happened?" Lola tried to voice but it came out raspy and scratchy from the dryness, making her need for thirst increase.

Avery sighed, shaking her head as her head rolled back against the wall, using it for support to keep her body up. It seemed as if she was trying to figure out what to even say.

Lola noticed Avery gulping painfully before her mouth opened, "Once I got out of the car, I immediately got thrown into the alleyway... Next thing I know, I woke up here."

It took a painfully long time for her to form her words due to the punch delivered to her vocal cords. Lola's eyebrows furrowed, placing a restrained hand on her forehead at the raging headache that wasn't going away anytime soon. She cursed herself for not being able to remember anything as he brain was nothing but clouded with emptiness.

"You had asked me to meet you there.." Lola stated slowly, remembering that tiny little detail.

Lola brought her attention back over towards Avery, who was staring at her with a confused expression, tilting her head to the side as she shook her head. "No... you texted me to meet up with you?"

It was now Lola's turn to be completely puzzled. The brunette was sure that Avery reached out to her, asking to meet up. After a silent pause, Lola's eyes widen in realization, as if it finally all came back to her. This was a set-up, a way to lure the two girls into a trap, but who's?

At the same time, Avery seemed to have the same realization of what happened. She let out a low scoff, disappointment washing over her face at the fact the two of them fell straight into the person's trap.

"Fucking bastard." Lola muttered in annoyance under her breath, earning a light chuckle from the blonde across the room from them.

Avery nodded in agreement, letting out a long sigh as she closed her eyes, potentially coming up with a plan to get them out of this worn down, disgusting place. Lola glanced over at the huge metal door that shielded them from the outside world.

Lola felt her energy slowly seeping in her veins, giving her a slight sense of hope that they could escape, especially with her blonde friend, who specialized well in picking locks. The only problem was how they would get out of these handcuffs.

Before the girls could even speak, the loud creak of the metal door dragging open against the cement floor echoed around the room. Avery winced at the ear deafening noise, which Lola understood all too well.

A heavy pair of footsteps slowly made its way into the room. Lola squinted her eyes to try to get a better sight of who it was. Once the light reflected well off the person, her eyes widened once she realized the all too familiar face of the person inside the room.
