It didn't feel like a Friday to Fee. It was a gloomy and the clouds casted across the sky. She almost mistakened it to be nightfall, but no, she was still in school.
Fee gently placed her pencil down next to her homework- on the scratched up table in the library. Seemingly lost in thought as she couldn't help but stare outside the window. She stared at the oak trees surrounding the school as a forcefield almost.
Fee wished for a normal weekend, unlike the week that had been anything but normal. Everyone was acting different, nothing felt the way it was suppose to. It caused the brunette to feel on edge, not knowing what to expect from anyone.
After the fight that Lola and Toji had in the cafeteria, Fee desperately wished to run after Lola and comfort her, but Avery shook her head- telling her it wasn't the brightest idea. Ever since the girl walked out of the doors, Fee hadn't seen the familiar brunette in school. Worry began to swirl around in Fee's brain, Lola never missed school.
She had tried to get in contact with Lola, but Avery told her that they should give her space. Fee desperately wanted to ask various questions, her curiosity was at an all time high. She knew better though, it wasn't Avery's place to answer.
Toji was also acting different. Sure, he was still his playful self, but Fee could feel something was wrong. She had seen him around school, making out with a new girl a day, then throwing them away to feel bad about himself. This new side of him scared her to no end.
Gojo was the only constant in her life this week. Fee and the blonde had grown closer together, just as friends though, but Fee knew she was kidding herself. She was developing a crush on the man, but she had to get over it. He'd never feel the same back.
Fee could hear the bell ring, signalling school was over. She sighed, stuffing her backpack with her homework. She made her way out the library, before her movements were halted as something– or someone– placed a hand on her shoulder.
Fee's face instantly brightened as she knew who it was, Gojo. She turned around giving him a huge grin as she saw the corners of his lips turn up.
"To what do I owe the pleasure?" She questioned, crossing her arms over her chest.
Gojo shook his head, "I'm taking you home. It's cold out."
Fee rolled her eyes but nodded, thanking the boy. The two started their journey towards the parking lot. Fee instantly felt the cold air stick to her face. Her fingers turning red from the icy grip it had on her, squeezing any warmth out of her system.
She couldn't help but shiver, before she felt a sense of warmth engulf her body. She looked up to see Gojo wrapping his jacket around her, a blush appearing on her face as he had a prideful expression on his face. It confused her, the other day he made fun of a guy giving a girl his jacket. He said it was 'cringe and stupid.'
Fee nudged him in the side, "Careful Gojo, don't go getting soft on me."
Gojo shot her an amused look as she started laughing hysterically.
"Never." He teased back, raking a hand through his short hair as they made their way to the car.
"Fucking finally." A female voice groaned, snapping the two out of their trance.
Avery stood next to the car, an unamused look plastered on her face. She was freezing. Her arms were wrapped tightly around her body, huddling for some warmth. Her nose bright pink from the cold, making her teeth clatter together.
Gojo let out a deep sigh, "Okay cry baby, get in."
Fee and Avery quickly got in, sighing in relief at the heat of the car. Fee rubbed her hands together slightly, trying to speed up the process of them warming up. A shake exhale left her mouth as she sighed.
