Carvida instantly kissed Lucius back and gripped his neck tightly. She felt Lucius smirk in response before he pulled her even closer and sucked on her bottom lip pleasurably.

"Stay quiet. You messed with my mind enough for today" He replied looking at the road ahead.

She chuckled softly and looked outside the window. "It's so easy to tease you" She said.

"Why?" She asked trying to decipher that enigmatic man. "Why do I have such an impact over you? " She added.

You filled me with something beyond love and desire, you filled me with a never ending obsession, a longing for you that i will never stop craving" Lucius replied staring at her briefly.

Her heart skipped a beat at his words. No one had ever talked to her like that. Her own parents made her feel worthless... Useless and ashamed of who she was. But he.. He made her feel special. As strange as it was.. He made her feel confident, alive and... Loved. She was scared of how he made her feel. Love was not good.. It brought tears, pain and misery. Besides.. She could not fall for him. He was her stalker. He was a murderer.

Exhaling softly, she remained quiet and looked ahead for the rest of the ride not knowing how to respond to his answer. Thankfully, Lucius did not say anything to her either and continued to drive them back home. Once they reached at her house, she quickly got out and walked back to her door not waiting for him.

"Little flower" Lucius said just when she opened the door. She turned around and saw him marching towards her.

"Your keys" He said taking her hand and placing the car keys in it.

"Thanks" She replied looking at anything but him.

Lucius sighed heavily and lifted her chin up staring into her eyes with immense adoration and love. "You can't feel love without opening your heart and accepting the pain that comes with it. Love is painful, but it's also beautiful and rewarding. I know you are scared of how you feel for me little flower. But you will eventually accept it" He said before placing a soft kiss on her forehead. She stared at him speechless. How did he know her that well? Damn it. He always knew how she felt.

"Go to bed now... Goodnight" Lucius added after a few seconds. She immediately snapped out of her thoughts and watched as he walked away from her.

"Goodnight" She whispered standing there and watching him vanish down the road in the dark lonely night. Her mind racing with what he said. Could she really open her heart and let him in? Her parents had broke her heart and she shut her emotions since then. She never let anyone in her heart. Was she ready for the vulnerability and pain loving Lucius would bring?
