Lucius cracked his neck and leaned against the seat with a sigh. He was currently in his private jet, on his way back home to his little flower in Los Angeles. God he was impatient and anxious to see her because he did not hear about her for so long. And He missed her.. So fucking much. All he hoped was that she was doing alright and taking good care of herself like he asked her. With that thought in mind, he leaned his head back and closed his eyes trying to calm himself.

"Anything the matter sir?" Albert's voice was heard making him open his eyes to stare at Albert who was just opposite him while the other men were all seated behind.

"I miss my woman" Lucius replied with a distant look in his eyes.

"Ah Miss Gray right? You love her a lot it seems" Albert stated with a soft smile.

"I do.. I love her more than my own life" Lucius replied with a soft voice.

"I'm sorry... For everything you went through because I know I was also involved in it" Albert said looking guilty.

Lucius stared at the man with a deep gaze. Albert had already apologised to him for more times than he can count and to be honest Lucius had forgiven the man. His problem was with Aziel. Not Albert or the others. They were all just obeying their boss in order to earn a living.

"It's fine Albert. I told you before" Lucius replied calmly.

"Your heart may be cold, but it burns with the flames of justice Mr Walker. Thank you for everything " Albert said to which Lucius nodded.

"No problem. Now that Aziel's company is mine. I'll increase everyone's salary and use the money to create an institution that supports Cancer" Lucius replied.

"Thank you sir. You are a noble man. A criminal but a noble man" Albert stated making Lucius chuckle softly.

"Good to know. By the way Albert... I heard your daughter is getting married next week. You should go and see her. Aziel is dead now" Lucius said making Albert smile happily. Lucius was not a monster like Aziel. He knew how valuable true family was...He had learnt it from painful experiences and he had no reason to stop the man from going to his daughter's wedding.

"Thank you sir I'll surely go" Albert replied with a gentle bow.

Lucius shook his head. "Ah Albert I believe you have thanked me enough now. No more please and don't bow" He replied to which Albert nodded quickly still smiling.

"Good" Lucius said before looking out of the window, all the moments spent observing Carvida, caressing her hair, touching her, loving her and adoring her running on and on in his mind.

He never thought he could miss someone this much or that he could love this much. Carvida had changed him for the best and he was forever grateful that he saw her that day. His life had changed in ways that he could not even describe. He felt complete, he felt alive. He felt like everything was right in his life when he was with her. Like he was just where he was always meant to be.

Surely, he had done a fair amount of bad things. He had committed many crimes but he still found love. He found a home and he found his light... His sanity. He had also realised recently that everyone deserved a second chance...A redemption and he got his with her. Henceforth according to him, the others deserved a redemption as well which is why he forgave Albert and the other men. Besides what was most important to him was her...

His heart ached as he thought about Carvida's smile and the sound of her laughter rang in his ears offering his heart and soul immense peace and comfort. God he wanted to hold her in his arms so badly but patience was required. Just a bit more and he would return home to his love.

"Sir... What are you going to do about the drugs now?" Albert asked making him snap back to reality.

"I will destroy all of them. We won't ever do illegal things again. We are not going to sell drugs. I would announce it to everyone in the underworld that Aziel is dead and I took over. Everyone fears and respects me. They will therefore have no choice but to accept it"Lucius replied firmly. He was definitely not going to sell these filthy substances again.

"Noted then" Albert replied calmly looking at Lucius with respect and admiration.

"We must say though... We worked with Aziel for a long time and met many people but none of them treated us like you sir and we are thankful to you" One of the men said from behind to which everyone nodded in agreement.

"Okay now you guys are treating me like I'm God or an angel. I'm glad that you are all at my service and loyal to me but you don't need to thank me this much. I did what was right" Lucius replied making everyone smile.

He had definitely gained the respect and loyalty of everyone. After all, he had killed so many people by himself and he treated everyone righteously even if they worked for his enemy. And most importantly he became a slave for his love. Something not many people would have done.

You see many people can tell you they love you and they will do anything for you but in the end only those who truly love you and shows it through their actions are the ones who will really ever do anything for you. Love is not expressed only by words but through our actions, our devotion to our loved ones, our decisions and through sacrifices. That was true love. And now he was finally returning to his...
