Chapter 33

Few months later

Carvida walked hand in hand with Lucius, her feet touching the soft wet sand while soft waves came crashing close to her and the sun was slowly setting down in the sky. She smiled softly as she stared at the peaceful atmosphere in front of her. She never felt as carefree as today. She finally felt at peace and she was happier than ever.

"I love you" Lucius suddenly said standing in front of her.

She smiled and looked at him to find him staring at her with immense love and affection. "I love you too" She replied just when Lucius kneeled in front of her and placed a soft kiss on her belly. She was already nine months pregnant now and it was only a matter of time before the babies would come to this world.

"I love the three of you so very much" Lucius whispered against her tummy as he caressed it lovingly making her heart melt at his gesture.

"I don't know what I would do without you. You are the light of my life.. and you are my world... I will do anything and everything for you and the babies. I promise to always keep you safe" Lucius whispered looking up at her lovingly.

"I know you will my love and to be honest I have no idea either how I would live without you. You are my reason to live now. You are my home, my safe haven where I feel loved in ways I never expected"Carvida replied with a soft smile looking right back at him with pure love.

Lucius smiled back and took a deep breath before pulling out a blue box from his pocket. Carvida's heart raced as he opened it revealing a beautiful diamond ring with a blue rose in the middle.

"My love, We share something that no one else can. We share an unending and unbreakable bond. An unending love that is like no other. Our love has combined everything about both of us now. Our scent, our emotions, our feelings, our love. They have combined into a new scent, a new emotion, a new love. A unique and a new one. A love like no other. Only we know it and only we will ever understand and have this love"Lucius said staring at her like she was the only thing that he knew and could see.

"And I'm forever grateful that I got to experience what love truly is with you. You came into my life unexpectedly and stole my heart on the very first day. You accepted me with my flaws and loved me wholeheartedly. That's why today as the sun is setting down and blessing us with its warmth. I want to ask you my sweet baby if you want to become my wife... Will you marry me and make me the luckiest man in the world?" Lucius asked making her heart melt as she processed every single words he just said.

Her eyes turned teary and she stared at him with endless love and adoration. "God Yess!"She replied smiling with tears of joy in her eyes. Lucius immediately exhaled in relief before standing up and placing the ring on her finger.

He then wrapped his arms around her and kissed her passionately. She instantly kissed him back and wrapped her arms around his neck. They both shared a loving kiss filled with pure, true and undeniable love for each other.

She felt the babies kick after a few seconds and broke the kiss with a soft chuckle. "Looks like Kane and Lucian are happy as well" She said referring to her sons. They had both chosen the names together and she believed it was perfect.

Lucius'eyes beamed with joy as he kneeled down once more and caressed her belly lovingly. "Hey boys! Are you happy? Mom and Dad are getting married"Lucius said and she instantly felt another kick making her smile softly.

Lucius smiled as well as he felt the babies kick with his hand that was placed on her belly."I'll take that as a yes... I'm so happy I have you my sons. I can't wait to hold both of you in my arms" Lucius whispered making her heart melt even more.

Lucius would always talk to the babies like that every single day especially before going to the company. He also took great care of her and did not let her do anything or move by herself. He would carry her even if she thought she was heavy. He would even scold her for thinking like that. He was truly the best husband she could ask for and she was definitely grateful for him.

"You are going to be a wonderful father" She said making Lucius look up with a smile on his face.

"And you are going to be an amazing mother" He replied standing up and holding her face in his hands.

"We are going to be together forever my little flower. You, me and our sons" He added leaning his forehead against hers in an affectionate way making her smile happily.

"Together forever" She repeated closing her eyes and simply enjoying the warmth, comforting and loving presence of her lover while the gentle soft golden light of the sun blessed them and their love.

This story definitely started in an unexpected way with her parents'death but here she was now. Happier than ever. And most importantly she was now free...
