One week later
Lucius entered inside Aziel's office with a contract in hand. "Greetings Aziel, I came to inform you that your drugs are being successfully sold and transported as you wanted to Italy" He stated and watched as Aziel smiled happily.
"That's great news! All of them are being sold?" Aziel asked, his greedy eyes sparkling with joy.
Lucius nodded and placed the contract in front of him praying his plan works. "Yes, all of them are being sold successfully and you need to sign this document so that I can transport more drugs to Greek" Lucius stated and Aziel happily took the contract and signed it without even reading. Too much happy with the news he just received.
Lucius exhaled in relief and quickly took the file from him. "Very well, I shall make sure to start exporting the drugs there now. I have analysed our past transactions and checked our position. We are currently at the highest point and your wealth has increased a lot" Lucius stated in a matter of fact watching as Aziel smiled even more.
"That's fantastic" Aziel stated. "I knew I could count on you. You were always a great asset" He added nonchalantly.
"Right. I am. It deserves a drink don't you think?" Lucius stated with a soft smile to which Aziel nodded enthusiastically.
Lucius smiled even more and went towards the table behind Aziel. He then turned his back to him and poured whiskey in two glasses. One for him. One for Aziel. He carried out his plan smoothly while Aziel was lost in joy and euphoria at the idea of having so much money.
"Here's your glass" Lucius said finally turning around. He offered the glass to Aziel and stood right in front of his desk with the contract in his other hand. "Cheers to your success" He added raising his glass before bringing it to his lips.
"Cheers to me" Aziel replied raising his glass with a smile. He then stood up and gulped down the whiskey in one go. Lucius smirked, an evil glint in his eyes while he watched as Aziel slowly drank his very last glass of whiskey.
He then slowly took a sip from his own glass and placed it on the desk in front of Aziel. He loosened his tie slightly and laughed softly. "Ah Aziel... It was a pleasure knowing you" Lucius said looking at Aziel who started to stumble backwards before finally falling on his chair coughing badly.
"W-What do you mean?" Aziel asked through heavy breaths.
"Aziel.. What's one thing we all know to never do in the underworld huh?" Lucius asked with a wicked grin. Aziel looked at him confused as his face slowly turned red from lack of proper breaths.
"Never ever accept a drink from your enemy" Lucius replied laughing wickedly. "I poisoned you. You arrogant bastard !" He added watching as Aziel's eyes widened and he struggled to breathe.
"You see... I was wondering how to get my revenge from you? Then I thought why not give you a taste of your own medicine" Lucius stated walking around the room nonchalantly.
"You mother fucker" Aziel spat through gritted teeth. Lucius laughed in response and looked at him to see he was trying to stand up but failing miserably.
"Don't fight against it. That poison I used is very very powerful. You are going to die either way" Lucius stated calmly, his heart being filled with satisfaction at the sight of Aziel slowly losing his life.
"Y-You can't do that... We have a contract..." Aziel stuttered loosening his tie and unbuttoning the first few buttons of his suit jacket.
"On the contrary Aziel you just signed a contract where you clearly agreed to freeing me and selling your company to me. Your men are also mine now" Lucius stated lifting the contract in his hand with a smirk.
"That's.. Impossible.. You tricked me..." Aziel stuttered gasping for air.
"Wrong. You are the fool who did not read the document before signing it. And to be honest I'm thankful for that" Lucius replied with a soft chuckle.
"You became too blinded by greed Aziel. You forgot momentarily that I am your enemy and that is your mistake" Lucius added before snapping his fingers and Aziel's men came inside the room including Albert.
Aziel's eyes widened at the sight of his right hand man standing next to Lucius. "A-Albert.. After everything... You... You betrayed me" Aziel said, his eyes slowly closing.
"Sorry Sir but you are an arrogant horrible boss that did not even cared when I told you I needed one day off for my mother's funeral" Albert spat with hatred. "Lucius on the other hand is fair and just" He added making Aziel clench his fist.
"You backstabbing fucker" Aziel spat leaning against his chair and tapping his chest repeatedly looking in immense pain. Ah it was a pleasure watching him die slowly and torturously like that.
"It's no use swearing Aziel. If you treated your men righteously. We would not be here today" Lucius stated with a sneer watching with immense satisfaction as Aziel's eyes slowly closed.
"I told you I would snatch everything from you and see I kept my word"Lucius added just when Aziel's breath slowed down.
"You... Are... A... Cunning... Man... I'll.. Give you.. That..." Aziel stuttered slowly dying.
Lucius chuckled. "I was always cunning and I did told you not to underestimate me" He replied exhaling in contentment.
"My.. Bad.." Aziel replied his hands slowly falling on both side of him.
"Yeah..And now when you reach hell... Do tell the devil.... You are an offering to him from me" Lucius said just when Aziel gave up his last breath. He smirked, his blue eyes darkening with immense cruelty and wickedness. He did it. He finally got his revenge.
