Carvida slowly stirred in her sleep and opened her eyes. She immediately sat up straight and looked around for Lucius but the room was empty. Only a letter and a blue rose was on her nightstand table like always. Sighing softly, she looked down at her tummy and saw a heat bag on it. She could not resist the smile that appeared on her face. He had really taken care of her... Even if she was insecure.

She felt her heart fill with warmth at the gesture. Lucius was really someone very different. He was both cold and warm and that confused her on how to feel about him. She turned to her nightstand table and grabbed the blue rose and the letter. She inhaled the scent of the blue rose and smiled even more. She then opened the letter :

My little flower,

Don't ever feel insecure about anything with me. No matter what. There's absolutely nothing about you that I won't like or feel disgusted about.

My love for you is something that can never be broken. It is the strongest emotion to ever have. And I will forever be proud to have you as my everything. To have you as mine.

When you look at yourself in the mirror, love what you see baby and remember my words. Remember that you are loved by me.

She felt her eyes turned teary at his words. For the past year, Lucius'letters had healed all the scars, wounds and injuries inflicted on her heart, mind and soul by her very parents. Every single comforting words had boosted her confidence and self love for herself. She did not know what kind of gift or dark blessing Lucius was in her life but deep down she was grateful for him.

She placed the letter on her lap and caressed the blue rose affectionately. Lucius was slowly starting to make his way inside her heart and that scared her yet it somehow offered her soul warmth to experience that glimpse of being loved. With her stalker in mind, she removed the heat bag, stood up and placed the letter in her drawer. She then placed the rose on her nightstand table, took some clothes out and went to freshen up.

After 20 minutes, she finally came out fully dressed in a pair of sweatpants and an oversized t-shirt. Now that her book was out. She was no more going to work at the library and thankfully she was not getting period cramps anymore but she still felt slightly tired and exhausted. Nonetheless, She headed downstairs to the kitchen only to freeze on the spot.

There, standing in all its glamour was Lucius. He was cooking and his back was turned to her. He stayed? He actually stayed. Lord what was this guy doing to her heart? She exhaled softly and walked behind him quietly. And just when she was about to touch his shoulder, he turned around and stared at her with a soft gaze.

"Good morning my little flower, How are you feeling?" He asked tugging her hair behind her ear. Of course he knew she was here already. That was Lucius. Nothing escaped him.

"I'm.. Fine" She replied staring back into his blue eyes that looked like bright pools of water.

"Good. Sit at the breakfast nook, I'll bring breakfast" He said placing a soft kiss on her forehead before turning his back to her again. She silently walked to the breakfast nook and settled down comfortably. There was no reason to not listen to him anyway.

After a few seconds, Lucius sat just in front of her and placed a plate of cheese omelette in front of her along with a cup of coffee. Cheese omelette... It was her favourite. "Thank you but you won't eat?" She asked noticing he did not bring anything for him.

"No. I'll enjoy watching you eat" He said with a smile tugging at the corners of his lips.

She smiled in response and digged into her food. As soon the first bite of omelette was in her mouth, she moaned softly. "It's really good!! It's just the way I like" She said after a few seconds looking at Lucius who stared right back at her fondly.

"That's good to know you like my cooking" He replied leaning back against the chair, his eyes never leaving hers.

"I do. For sure" She replied and continued to eat but she occasionally stole glances at Lucius. There were a few things she wanted to ask him. When he became obsessed with her? About his parents? But she did not know if he would speak up or not.

"What is it little flower? I know there's something going on in that pretty little head of yours" Lucius stated with a raised eyebrow. Damn it Lucius. Stop reading me like an open book.

She sighed and leaned back against her chair. "When did you became obsessed with me?" She asked calmly.

Lucius stared at her for a few seconds before answering "It was on the day of my mother's birthday 13rd March, I was walking down the road and saw you coming out of your house"He replied.

"And? "She urged wanting to know more. She did remember fighting with her parents that day and leaving the house in anger.

"And I was intrigued by you. Your amber eyes... They were also just like my mom's eyes.. I followed you to the park that day and I was captivated by you...by your beauty, your aura, your appearance" He replied staring at her with the softest gaze she ever saw.

"Since then you stalked me" She stated to which he nodded.

"Yeah I did. I wanted to kill your parents the moment I saw their behaviour towards you" He said clenching his jaw, his blue eyes darkening with fury.

She gulped nervously. "Right... But you did not kill them immediately.. Why?" She asked.

"Because they were your parents whether I liked it or not. I wanted your permission before doing it. And you gave it to me that night you cried in the garden little flower" He stated firmly. Right she had wished their death that day.

She exhaled softly and stared at Lucius with a deep gaze wondering whether to ask the next question or not but if Lucius was starting to make its way in her heart. Might as well get to know him. "Where are your parents?" She asked and saw Lucius'eyes darkened even more.
