Epilogue

Years later

Carvida smiled happily as she watched her sons and her daughter running freely on the soft sand, their father chasing them. She chuckled when Kane showed his tongue to Lucius before running away. They were all more than happy here and it seems the beach was their favourite place. After all it was here that Lucius proposed to her and they got married. This beach held very precious memories, one she would carry with her till death.

She looked at Noelle running and smiled remembering how Lucius had lifted Carvida up and twirled her around in happiness when she told him she was pregnant again. They were all even more happy when they learnt it was a girl. Kane and Lucian were both very protective of Noelle as well. They were like two warriors protecting their sister and she was definitely happy to see her kids shared such a loving bond with each other.

That's what she wanted. For her children to always be there for each other and to truly cherish each other no matter what. Siblings was a gift that she wanted them to cherish forever for she had felt lonely her whole life until Lucius arrived. And she wanted her kids to grow up together in a loving atmosphere where they never felt alone or lonely.

She suddenly snapped out of her thoughts when she heard Noelle giggle. She smiled even more and walked closer to them. She then lifted Noelle up just when Lucius caught both Kane and Lucian who thrashed against their dad's strong grip playfully.

"Oh Daddy got you guys" Noelle giggled in her arms and she stared at Noelle's green emerald eyes with adoration. Noelle was definitely beautiful with her smooth fair skin and dark brown hair. She was like an angel.

"Dad would have got you too if mom did not lift you up" Kane said smugly to which Lucian nodded in agreement.

Lucius and her chuckled softly at their cuteness "Alright... Alright.. Enough bickering and playing for today" Lucius said holding both of his sons in his strong muscular arms.

"Okay Dad" All of them replied in unison.

"I love you my babies" Carvida said staring at her children lovingly as the cool breeze run through her hair.

"We love you too mom" They all replied with a soft smile.

"What about me?" Lucius asked with a fake look of hurt on his face.

"We love you too" Lucasia and her children said together making Lucius smile cheekily.

"I love all of you too" Lucius said as he stood closer to her and stared at her with immense love and affection.

He then placed a soft kiss on her forehead before placing one on Noelle's cheek. Then one on the twins'cheeks. Kane smiled softly in response while Lucian's eyes shone with happiness.

Kane was definitely grumpy most of the time while Lucian was the more talkative and cheerful one. They were twins but in personality, they were complete opposites. And Noelle.. Well she was the angel of the family and she always made sure they were all together. She liked keeping her family united and it was a trait that Carvida and Lucius both liked a lot.

"Come, let's watch the sunset" Lucius suddenly said as he sat on the soft grass with Kane and Lucian on his lap.

Carvida smiled happily and nodded before sitting down next to him with Noelle on her lap. She then leaned her head on Lucius'shoulder as they all stared at the sunset with a sense of peace and contentment spreading through them.

The sun was in a way a reminder that there would always be some warmth in this world even during the coldest days for it would always rise every single day. No matter what, the sun would always be present and so light and warmth would always be there as well.

She felt Lucius wrap an arm around her waist and pull her closer to him as they all stared transfixed by the beautiful scenery in front of them. She smiled and snuggled closer to him... They were in their own world now and it was all that mattered in that instant.

"Mom?" Lucian called out making her look at him quickly.

"Yes baby" She replied with a soft smile.

"You are the best mom ever" Lucian said making her heart melt.

"Yeah mom and dad are the best"Noelle added with a soft giggle.

"Dad is like a cheeky devil and Mom is like a pretty Goddess" Kane said making Lucius gasp while she laughed softly.

"Now who told you such thing?" Lucius asked with a raised eyebrow but a smile tugged at the corners of his lips.

"Uncle Albert said so the other day" Kane replied nonchalantly making Carvida laugh when she saw Lucius scowl. Right, Albert had become Lucius' most trusted men now and he spent time with the kids a lot when Carvida had meetings with Mr Roger for her books and Lucius was at work.

"Seriously... Remind me my little flower to not leave the kids with Albert too much" Lucius said shaking his head.

Carvida laughed. "But it's true what he said" She said teasingly.

"Now not you too" Lucius said making her laugh even more.

"Okay... Okay.. I won't say anything" Carvida said trying not to laugh even more.

Kane turned around and looked at Lucius with a thoughtful look. "Dad, it's true though, you would look good with horns on your head" He said placing his hands on both side of Lucius' head and pointing his index fingers up.

"Yeah he does look good" Lucian pointed out turning around as well.

Lucius chuckled softly and stared at them with adoration. "Fine..." He said making her smile. Lucius could never resist his kids.

"Mom also look good right now. She's always like a Goddess" Noelle said turning around in her arms and looking at her with a smile.

Carvida smiled happily and pulled all her kids and Lucius in a bone crushing hug. "God I love you guys" She said while holding her family close to her.

Lucius wrapped an arm around their kids and pulled her closer to him with his other arm while their kids hugged them both, their eyes shining with love and happiness. This was definitely the most beautiful sight for her and she relished every moment of it.

It was funny how at the start she wanted to kill Lucius but here they were today, husband and wife, mother and father to three beautiful kids that have so much to discover and give to the world. This was the best moment of her and Lucius'entire existence and they all held each other close, worshipping this pure moment of joy knowing that they were both exactly where they were meant to be.... Together forever...

To Noelle : You were, you are and you will always be my bundle of light. You bring light into everyone's life with your beauty and love. You know how important family is and that's something I admire a lot in you. Always know that I love you wholeheartedly even if we are apart.

I love all three of you and I'm extremely proud of you three. You all were the most precious blessing offered to me. One I will carry with me for the rest of my life even if I'm unable to hold you and hug you my precious ones... Remember that forever.
