A couple more days had passed and the class was nearing the end of their internships. Izuku awoke within the Edgeshot agency and quickly got dressed before making his way down to the meeting room in the basement. As he entered, Edgeshot greeted him.

Edgeshot: "Ah, good morning Midoriya. Someone is here to see you."

Izuku: "Who?"

His host gestured towards a meeting table and revealed Aizawa, who wore a grim expression as well as red eyes, suggesting he had been crying.

Izuku: "Mr. Aizawa? What happened?"

Izuku walked over to his teacher.

Aizawa: "They got Yamada."

Izuku froze. The Homunculi had gotten to Present Mic? That shouldn't have been possible. Despite his over the top and out going attitude, he and Aizawa shared a level of constant alertness that he was sure rivaled Edgeshot's. Unless..

Izuku: "How?"

Aizawa pulled out an envelope and tossed it onto the table, allowing several pictures to spill out. These pictures were of security footage that showed Mic entering Izuku's investigation room, what looked to be Midnight entering, and then the woman leaving without Mic and holding a gun. Izuku clenched his fists. Anyone who knew Midnight knew she didn't have the capacity to kill her friends. That left only one conclusion in Izuku's brain.

Izuku: "Envy."

Aizawa: "My thoughts exactly. Especially considering Kayama's been on vacation up north during the work studies."

Izuku: "But the public doesn't know that."

Aizawa nodded.

Aizawa: "Midoriya. There's no longer any doubt Nezu is against us. So tell me, what do we do?"

Izuku stayed quiet in thought for a moment before speaking up.

Izuku: "We need a plan. We need to get out of their eyes, even just for a little bit. Gather our allies and meet somewhere we know they can't see us."

Aizawa: "Alright. Kayama should be brought into this."

Izuku: "Agreed. Edgeshot too. Especially considering he's been here the whole time."

It was then the ninja hero walked over.

Edgeshot: "It would be nice to help your predicament."

---

An hour later, the two had managed to explain what they knew to Edgeshot.

Edgeshot: "So a race of artificial humans, created by another artificial life, have somehow returned. All of this possible because of an ancient, matter bending technique. Quite interesting I must say, though not exactly unbelievable, quirks can bend space after all. I will help however I can.

Aizawa: "Right."

He pulled out a pen and wrote on a piece of paper that was on the table before tearing off what he wrote and handed it to Izuku.

Aizawa: "Tomorrow, meet at this address. Everyone will be there. I need to go get the others, good luck."

With that said, he left the agency to do what he said. As he did, Edgeshot took a look at the address.

Edgeshot: "Hosu huh?"

Ashido awoke, the familiar feeling of tiredness being more intense than ever. Her sleepwalking was getting worse and worse. Not even medication seemed to be helping. She felt frustrated. Her sleepwalking was only occasional when she was little and back then her energy was hardly ever low for long. Now though? It seemed she needed coffee and energy drinks just to make it to lunch.

Ashido: "Why? What could be causing this?"

It was then she realized, this only started after her first battle training. That night was the first night in over a year she sleepwalked and it was the first time it left her tired. What had happened that day to cause this? She suddenly felt a yawn coming up. She raised her arms to stretch, opened her mouth to let the mighty yawn out, and blinked. For a split second, she could've sworn she could see thousands of faces, all screaming. Then she opened her eyes and she was back in the room she woke up in, but with one difference, it was pitch black out.

She froze. There was no way she had just blinked and entire day away. She wasn't THAT tired. Now that she thought about it, she felt even more tired than before. It was then she realized that her hand felt wet, yet warm. Looking down, she let out a gasp. Her hand was covered in thick, red, blood. It dripped from her fingers and landed on a white suit. One she was very familiar with. Just past her hand, laid the nearly lifeless body of Gang Orca, hus heart laying still on the floor with several holes in it. Panicking, she nealt down to him.

Ashido: *Yelling* "SIR! I-I'M SO SORRY! I-I."

His weak hand found it's way to her shoulder.

Gang Orca: "I- -cough- kn-know. It i-i-is o- -cough- okay. J-just promise m-me one thing."

Ashido: "Anything! W-what is it!?"

Gang Orca: "D-do n-not -cough- let i-it win."

With his final words said, his hand fell limply from her shoulder, and the hero passed on. Then, Ashido blinked, and the next thing she saw was a red torrent of souls and a large face staring her down. Her life would never be the same.
