The Fullheroic Alchemist

Chapter 23

Izuku was thrown into another building. He tumbled through a small hallway and his back slammed into a couch. His sudden appearance caused the couple that were sitting there to jump up and scream. He opened his eyes, pressed his hands together, and touched the wooden floor, making a barrier between him and the people as the Nomu jumped into the room.

Izuku: *Yelling* "Get out of here."

Izuku stood and clapped his hands as the Nomu charged at him. He then stepped forward and held out a single hand. As the Nomu swung at him, the blue sparks of Alchemy appeared and the Nomu's hand and forearm were destroyed. Izuku smirked as he clapped his hands again, doing the same to the other arm, this time destroying the upper arm, making the rest fall to the ground. He ducked under a swing from the first arm, which had regenerated, and used Alchemy on the floor, impaling the Nomu through the stomach. The Nomu broke the wood, detaching it from the ground, but leaving it in it's stomach.

Izuku, getting and idea, charged forward and once again used Alchemy on the wood. He touched the wood impaling the Nomu, and made it spread through it's body, immobilizing the creature. After doing this, he quickly jumped up to it's head and attempted to reach for the stone, but the Nomu broke free of it's internal blockade quicker than Izuku anticipated and grabbed his leg. He was then thrown through the wooden wall he made, revealing the couple was still there, the two frozen in fear.

He tackled them to the ground as the Nomu charged trough the wall and towards them. The monstrous creature turned and swung downwards the the group and Izuku once again used destruction alchemy to stop the attack. He then transmuted a piece of his armor into a large knife and lunged past the Nomu before turning around and cutting the back of it's knees, making it fall. After that, Izuku leapt onto it's back, stabbing through it's spinal cord, making it flop forward. The couple scrambled to get out of the way.

Before it could regenerate, Izuku plunged his hand into it's exposed brain, and plucked out the Philosopher's Stone that it held, stopping it from healing. Sighing, a placed it in his pocket and turned to the couple.

Izuku: "You two should find somewhere safe. There's morenof these everywhere out there."

Quickly nodding in agreement, the two ran out of the apartment. Izuku then walked back to where he made his entrance. He was on the fifth story of an apartment complex, three blacks away from where Lust had attacked.

Izuku: "I just hope they're okay."

All of a sudden, his phone buzzed. He looked at it to see two messages, one in the 1-A group chat from Iida, the other from Todoroki. They both showed one location, an isolated alleyway in the outskirts of Hosu. Todoroki had also managed one word, Homunculus. Izuku quickly put his phone back and leapt out the hole in the wall. As he did, he noticed a yellow blur in the distance.

Todoroki evaded a clawed slash from the homunculus Greed, though his arm was caught in the attack, leaving a deep slash. As he landed, he sent out a large ice wave, temporarily holding back his opponents. He quickly looked to the two others with him, Iida and a dangerous man he only knew as the Hero Killer: Stain. The two homunculi, Greed and Gluttony, had chased him further away from Hosu and by pure luck, Todoroki had found his classmate and the criminal. With even more luck, he found Stain already had a hatred for Endeavor, and this was just the icing on the cake for him.

Todoroki: "That won't hold long. We need a plan!"

Iida tried to activate his quirk, but only soot came from his engines.

Iida: "My Recipro Burst is out. I'm no good for another minute. Todoroki, what's happening?"

Todoroki: "Something that I don't have time to talk about. Just know that that isn't my father, just something controlling his body. As for Fat Gum, I'm pretty sure he isn't even human."

As he said that, Stain threw a knife at Todoroki, and hit something behind him. Todoroki looked back, to see the face of Fat Gum just inches from his head. He ignited his arm and punched the homunculus away. He jumped backwards and over to Stain.

Stain: "I could tell. What are those red sparks?"

Todoroki: "Them healing. Our only hope is to wait for backup."

Stain: "What kind of backup can handle these things?"

Todoroki: "I'm not sure."

Greed finally burned his way through the ice, now fully covered in his ultimate defense. The sound of Iida's engines sputtering.

Iida: "Let's hope they get here quickly."

He charged at Greed and sent a kick out, just for it to do nothing. Without his engines, his kicks weren't strong enough. Todoroki shot fire at Greed, letting Iida escape. Just as the Engine user was backing up, Gluttony leapt at him, mouth wide open. Stain prepared to throw a knife, when a yellow blur came in and kicked Gluttony away. It then did a zig zag movement around the alley before kicking Greed away as well. When it landed, it was revealed to be an elderly man in a hero costume.

Gran Torino: "Looks like you were right, kid."

As he finished speaking, Izuku landed in front of the group.

Izuku: "And I hate that I was."

The two homunculi began to stand and the group took fighting stances. Just another fight in Hosu.
