"Well, well, well, what do we have here?" Ashton smirked as he leaned on Michael's doorway, Michael rubbed his eyes immediately getting up and waking up Luke and Ashton hugged his little brother "This bread stick is your boyfriend?" Ashton whispered and Michael hit him on the back of his head "This is awkward, hi I'm Luke." Luke extended his hand and Ashton shook it "Nice to meet you, so are you like together?" Ashton smirked causing Michael to blush and hit him "Uh, I don't know, we haven't talked about it, right Mikey." Luke wrapped an arm around Michael's shoulder "Anyway, just came home for break." Ashton said "I'll be in my room." Ashton added and left "Who was that?" Luke asked putting on his shoes "Brother." Michael whispered "Oh. Well, he's nice." Luke said, Michael sat on his desk chair watching Luke "It feels nice, you know, you talking to me a little." Luke smiled, Michael smiled a little while looking down at his feet

"I'll see you at school, yeah? Bye Mikey." Luke kissed the top of his head, almost hitting his cat ear causing Michael to blush so he covered his cheeks with his hands "Bye." he muttered and Luke had left. He watched Luke disappear and he grabbed a pillow and squealed, he didn't know what he was feeling, he felt something different, his hood and beanie fell off and he felt sad again "Oh." he mumbled to himself and the smile turned into a frown and he re-adjusted his beanie "Why the long face Baby Bro?" he jumped at Ashton's voice "One minute your squealing like a girl who had her first kiss and now you're sad, what's up?" Ashton sat down on Michael's desk chair "Luke. If he finds out I'm a hybrid, he'll think I'm a freak and leave me and beat me up or worse kill me." Ashton hit Michael with a pillow "If that bread stick really likes you he'll accept you for who you are." Ashton said "What if he won't huh? What if he'll tell the whole school about my secret?" Michael bit his nails "If that does happen we can always move back to Cheshire." Ashton said "I've tried that but Dad wouldn't let me, he said I over-reacted." Michael said "You do over-react sometimes." Ashton replied "It's called Paranoia." Michael said throwing his stuffed lion at Ashton "I can't believe you still have Daniel." Ashton laughed "Fuck you. Out of my room. Now! I'm still sick." Michael pushed Ashton out of his room "Drama queen." Ashton said closing Michael's door and Michael went back to bed and started fiddling with his cat ears "Why did you have to be part of me?" he asked himself and then tucked himself in and went back to sleep.

Monday came and Michael was kind of excited, Luke picked him up and they were now walking to school "So, what are your plans after high school?" Luke asked, Michael shrugged and he pointed at Luke "Me? Well, I plan on taking Psychology or I.T." Luke replied, Michael nodded 'Luke will probably have a normal life, marry someone who is not a freak a.k.a Me.' he thought to himself "Do you wanna hang out at my house after school? I kinda need help on homework." Luke scratched the back of his neck "Oh and it's my science homework, biology." Luke added and Michael nodded "Great!" Luke piped up and kissed the boy's cheek making Michael smile a little and they arrived at school "See you later Mikey." Luke ran off to his class leaving Michael all smiley and shit like that "Looks like you're stealing my best friend." a angry voice made Michael turn around and it was Calum "Come here." he grabbed Michael by the shirt and pulled him inside a empty classroom and pushed him on the wall "Luke's not here so I can basically do anything to you." Calum smirked "He's my best friend, not yours!" Calum yelled at Michael making him whimper and cower in the corner "You think I would listen to Luke? He's my best friend but he can't control me." Calum punched Michael making Michael groan silently "Stay away from my best friend or it'll get worse." Calum warned and punched Michael yet again before leaving him in the classroom in pain. Michael got up, groaning because his face hurts, he immediately walked to his Computer class and the teacher wasn't there but left an activity, he walked to his spot and worked on his computer and he recalled every word Calum said
