"Michael?" Luke said softly "Hmm?" Michael hummed "Who gave you that bruise?" Luke asked as they lied down face to face on the bed while Luke's fingers ghosted over the bruise "A door." Michael lied "You're lying." Luke raised his eyebrow "'m not." Michael defended "Tell me, please baby." Luke pleaded "No." Michael hid his face with his hands "Just give me hints." Luke pouted holding the shy boy's hands and Michael shook his head "I'm gonna find out eventually Michael." Luke sighed staring into Michael's green eyes and they heard a car engine and the door slamming close "Leave." Michael whispered "Okay, I'll see you at school tomorrow." Luke said putting on his shoes "I don't know." Michael fiddled with the hem of his shirt 

"I'll pick you up, see you tomorrow Baby." Michael blushed as Luke kissed his cheek before climbing out his window, Michael covered his mouth with his hand while trying not to squeal and he locked the window, closed the curtains, and he took off his beanie "Michael! Get down here! We bought dinner!" Louis yelled, Michael immediately calmed himself but whenever he recalled Luke calling him Baby, he would smile and blush. He finally calmed himself, went downstairs, and washed up for dinner, his parents were talking to Ashton about college and Michael ate his food with a smile on his face "Why are you all smiley today?" Harry asked "Hmm?" Michael hummed still smiling "And why do you have a bruise?!" Louis yelled "Dad, he ran into a door, calm down." Ashton said but Michael just kept on smiling "Michael, is this about that bread stick?" Ashton teased "He's not a bread stick." Michael defended "Ohh! Michael's defending him." Ashton teased some more and Michael threw a carrot at him "Michael!" Harry scolded

 "He's not a bread stick." Michael mumbled "I think he's in love." Harry said "No. Nope. No. Michael is too young to have a boyfriend." Louis said "You were 18 and I was 16 when you first asked me out." Harry said and Louis rolled his eyes "Are you like together?" Harry asked "I don't know." Michael replied finishing his food "I'm surprised you're not wearing a beanie tonight." Harry said pinching his cheek "Yeah, my ears need some air." Michael mumbled and ran upstairs to his room and his phone rang, surprising him, it was an unknown number and he picked up "Hi Baby!" It was Luke! Michael's heart flutter and he remembered that he never gave Luke his number "I might have saved your number earlier today." Luke said, Michael can picture him smirking "So, what are you up to?" Luke asked "Nothing, 'm tired." Michael yawned "You should go to sleep then." Luke said "I wanna hear your voice. I like it." Michael mumbled as he plopped down on his bed "Want me to sing to you Baby?" Luke asked "You sing?" Michael can barely keep his eyes open 

"I do. What song do you want to hear?" Luke asked "Anything." Michael said "Okay." Luke said, Michael put his phone on speaker "Lost and insecure. You found me, you found me. Lyin' on the floor, surrounded, surrounded. Why'd you have to wait?" Michael had a small smile on his face as he closed his eyes listening to Luke's voice "Where were you? Where were you? Just a little late. You found me, you found me." Luke finished, Michael had already fallen asleep "Baby? You asleep?" Luke asked and all he can hear is Michael's light snores "Good night Baby." Luke smiled and hung up "Who were you singing to?" he almost threw his phone "Jesus Dad! Can you knock? God!" Luke had a mini heart attack to see his Dad, Niall leaning on his door 

"Is Lukey Pukey in love?" Niall teased "First of all, don't call me that and second, I don't know." Luke replied "Who's the lucky guy?" Niall asked "Michael, Michael Gordon Clifford-Tomlinson." Luke said softly "What a long ass name." Niall laughed "It suits him." Luke said "Go to sleep, you have school tomorrow and I bet your're excited to see Michael." Niall teased "Oh my God Dad!" Luke groaned as Niall walked out of his room laughing.
