It was Monday morning and Ayotunde was surprised to wake up not to find his wife beside him on the bed despite the marathon sex they have been having over the weekend, especially after Peace finally gave her consent to anything can happen. She gave Ayotunde her words and have not stopped pleading for forgiveness regarding her first display of anger. She told Ayotunde she is willing to do all that it takes to make their marriage work and that it is too early for them to be arguing over mundane thing such as pregnancy.
"If it happens, it happens." She had assured him further on Sunday morning.
Ayotunde stood up from the bed to check the time but was welcomed to reality by the sweet aroma of the breakfast being prepared by Peace in their kitchen.
"What is this woman up to on a Monday morning" he asked rhetorically before heading out to join her in the kitchen.
"Hey! Good morning sunshine!" Peace enthusiastically welcomed her husband to the kitchen.
"I have packed your lunch, it is right over here and I am just rounding up on setting the table for breakfast, so, Mr. Handsome, go and get ready for work so we don't get to be late"
"Opor o!" Ayotunde expressed as Peace was focused on the plantain she was frying. She turned to find him trying to steal plantain and instantly stopped him.
"You are not doing that, time is not on our side and..." Ayotunde stopped her from talking by stealing a kiss then picked the plantain and ran away.
"I will remove it from your breakfast" she threatened as they both laughed at her threat.
Ayotunde was all dressed up in no time same as Peace and they were both settled in their dining room to take their first breakfasts together as a couple before going to work.
"I am hoping they will approve my request for leave this week, I cannot wait for us to go on our honeymoon officially abeg" Ayotunde said in the middle of eating.
"So you can get me pregnant eventually and break my back" Peace sarcastically.
"I have been getting series of alerts by the way, I will forward all of them to our joint account once I am settled at work so you can have an idea of how much we have received as wedding gift in cash" Peace concluded.
"Oh, that will be fine, please take your time. We are not in a hurry. Anything gift is until we are back from our honeymoon Babe, we are not seeing anyone or visiting any family until we are back from our honeymoon" Ayotunde said to her as he concluded his breakfast.
"That is my man! No whaala, let us take it one step at a time baby, none of us has been here before" Peace added before standing up to pack their plates.
"Except I will be seeing Seun today and you will also be seeing Omolola as well" Peace quickly added.
"No, I will do that. You have done the cooking and serving, I will do the packing and washing, thank you" Ayotunde interrupted her attempt to pack the plates they have used.
"I cannot wait to hear all the gist Omolola has to offer when I get to work" Peace expressed as they headed for the kitchen with the used plates in Ayotunde's hand.
"Seun has also promised heaven on earth gist for me, whatever is shaa the case, they are both compatible and will not hesitate to be the godfather of their union." Ayotunde said.
"Comrade it is okay sir" Peace replied.
"It is almost 7:30 we need to hurry up now, we can do the dishes when we are back in the evening" Peace said.
"Not like anyone is expecting us early at work today anyways. I am going on my thirty days leave and so are you so..." Ayotunde said dropping the plates in the sink.
"It is okay, shaa let us go to work, you are your own boss, me I have bosses to report to" Peace expressed herself.
"Wait, what is that on the floor?" Ayotunde pointed to the floor, unknown to Peace, the intentions of Ayotunde, she turned around to look at what Ayotunde had pointed to. Before she could turn back, she already got bent over and the skirt of her suit pulled up.
"Haaaaa, Ayotunde!" She expressed herself giggling. With no response, Ayotunde pulled down her pants and pulled out his already erected penis. In no time he was already inside her and the next series of sounds were sounds of moaning from peace.
