"I did not see it coming but it came anyways and that is the good thing. What was work like at your end as well today?" Peace concluded as they both settled on their couch to talk and gist after their dinner.
"Well, work was great! I already delegated much of my responsibilities, I was still being skeptical about the whole leave thing but when I got the approval, omooooo, na come my mind straight away. I was like YES! Time to break this woman's back!"
"Haaaa!!! It is well with your soul. I hope I have not married a sex addict like this. By the way I loved the experience of this morning and looking forward to more of it." Peace responded and expressed herself.
"I know right! You can say that again. And we are sitting on the couch o" Ayotunde said jokingly.
"So..." Peace said and started moving away.
"Well..." Ayotunde said before rushing towards her as she continued to shift away.
"Babe, be calming down fa, what you will eat for the rest of your life, you want to finish it all in just how many days?" Peace managed to say in-between her struggle for freedom.
"How did it go with your gist with Seun?" Peace suddenly asked as she has decided on her way home to be sure she was not the only one that talked about everything that happened over the weekend.
"Well..." Ayotunde started as he adjusted himself on the couch to allow for peace to reign.
"He wanted the full gist from my end but never ever will I ever do that. Not even with my parents. Whatever happens between my wife and myself remains between us, good or bad, ugly or beautiful. That is one way I was taught by my mentor to respect my woman. Not putting her out there for the world to imagine." Ayotunde concluded.
"So, Seun is world now? I thought he is your best friend ni" Peace expressed with guily conscience coming over her.
"Well, you are right. I know that Seun is my best friend, but what is the assurance that I am Seun's best friend. One just have to be careful. Not like I don't trust Seun to keep my secrets or have knowledge of everything but how sure am I whatever is said to him will not be shared with another person who regard him as best friend. Iyawo mi, in this life, you only know what you are told and I cannot afford to take any risk with you, what if I had given proper description of everything that happened over the weekend. The next time Seun comes around, the mental image is the first thing he will picture. We are all humans you know...Babe?" Ayotunde concluded before calling the attention of her woman who seem to already be lost in thoughts of the mistake she must have made.
"Ife Mi, I am here. I am so sorry." Peace apologized first before beginning to explain herself.
"Sorry about what?" Ayotunde asked curiously.
"I told Omolola everything" She said and immediately Ayotunde withdrew from her side.
"Like, everything everything?" Ayotunde asked angrily.
"I...I am sorry...Mom already scolded me for it as well and I promise it won't repeat itself ever again. Whatever happens between us remains between us henceforth Babe" Peace said apologetically.
"Let me break it down for you better in case you don't know the gravity of what you have done..." Ayotunde took a pause to watch his woman's reactions first before continuing.
"You have just given her direct access to or marriage. Now, she has the mental picture of what our sex life is like. Wait, you told her about the argument over pregnancy too?" Ayotunde questioned.
"Babe, it is not like that. I...only told her of my fears and..."
"And..." Ayotunde interfered.
"What was her counsel? That you start taking pills without my knowledge?" Ayotunde questioned further to the utmost surprise of Peace.
"What? How did you know that?" Peace asked surprisingly.
"Because I have read about it a lot of time. How women ruin their own homes by telling their supposed female best friends everything that happens in their marriage. I hope you remember the kind of personality that your friend is, above all of that, she still single and..."
"Babe, I am sorry." Peace apologized moving closer to him.
"Ife mi, it is fine. We all learn everyday just be careful of the kind of things you tell your friend in the name of gist" Ayotunde concluded.
"You wanted to..." Peace stopped him from continuing with a quick passionate kiss placed on his lips before she straddled him on the couch.
