The following morning, Ayotunde woke up watching his wife sleep like an angel right beside him. Definitely, she is yet to fully recover from the exhaustion that came with the different rounds of love they made over the night.
Ayotunde sat up to operate his phone and check his mail to see if there was any update from work or friends. He was done doing that when he decided to check his Facebook page. He went straight to his wife's timeline but was shocked to discover that nothing on her timeline narrates that she is married. Neither her relationship status on her profile nor any of her posts indicate that she is already married. A part of him became unsettled as to why his wife, after weeks of being married, would not make any form of social media post to indicate that they were married. The ones he tagged her in were not reflecting on any of her pages.
He dumped his phone out of annoyance to go into the bathroom and clean up before his wife could wake up fully. He was in the shower when the footsteps of Peace announced her presence in the bathroom.
"Good morning, my darling husband, who almost took my life out of pleasure," Peace said sensually as she stepped into the shower to join him. Ayotunde remained rigid but managed to exchange pleasantries.
"Good morning, My Darling Wife," he managed to respond, not returning the sarcasm and joy of what was offered by his wife. Peace wrapped herself around him, making the water splash on them both. She made attempts to turn him around for their usual early morning kisses, but Ayotunde objected.
"I just hope we will be able to have this kind of fun and moments when we are back to our base; it is as if this should not end." Peace expressed joyfully, not paying attention to the actions and reactions of her man.
"Babe, you are not even saying anything, and why don't you want to kiss me?" Peace confronted him eventually. But instead of allowing Ayotunde to grant her audience, he walked out of the shower, leaving her alone there. That was the point when the reality of Ayotunde's actions dawned on her. She was not expecting such a reaction from a man who gave her mind-blowing orgasms just a few hours ago. She quickly rounded up her cleaning-up process and went to further confront her man to know what must have been so big for her to deserve such a treatment.
"Ife Mi, is everything fine? Is this still about last night?" Peace asked calmly and carefully as she cleaned her body while trying to get the attention of Ayotunde at all costs.
