Three years later

"Maybe the love Minwoo wanted in his life wasn't supposed to be his from the very beginning, maybe he fell for the wrong person, maybe or maybe not, we never know. But we all fall for someone who makes us who we are today. They make us realize maybe it wasn't wrong after all, it was all worth it, just like the Seungcheol and Jeonghan of this book, it's beautiful no matter who you are nor what your identity is, it's just simply beautiful just the way it is."

Mingyu finished with a smile as he closed the book on his hands before looking at his fans who were already looking at him in awe. "Kim-shi, did the Minwoo in the story have his happy ending in his real life?" a fan from the crowd asked the author. Yes, right now Kim Mingyu was a well known writer who had the record of best selling books for numerous times.

But his new book named "Bittersweet" made a huge impact on his fans which was his first ever book that was totally different from his previous works, not to mention that the genre of the book wasn't a mystery-thriller but was a romantic one. The book had made its place in the industry not only for the sweet love story of the main characters named Seungcheol & Jeonghan but also for the bitter story of the side character named Minwoo but little did they know that the story was adapted from his own life experience and yes Mingyu did keep his promise.

It was a small fan signing event for lucky fans where Mingyu being the author will read out the story for his fans himself. Not many authors or fans had that kind of opportunity to meet each other like that. So, Mingyu was delighted to see his fans listening to his every word like they were holy words while imagining the characters in their own way. But he didn't think of getting this question from a fan. But can he blame them for being interested when he was the one who had written in the first page that the book was inspired from real life? Well, a big NO.

Mingyu smiled at the young fan who was enthusiastic about knowing more about the side character as he had an open ending. "Well, I guess you guys are more interested in Minwoo rather than our Jeongcheol," he teased the fans who made a whining 'NO!' sound, making the author chuckle. " It's for you to imagine," he started before leaning forward, tapping the mic against his lips. "But if you want to know, well, that's a secret," he flirted (he can't help it as it runs in his veins) putting a finger on his lips as he winked at his fans, making the fans go crazy at his perfect visuals and his effortlessly flirting nature.

As soon as he was finished with the event he ran out of the venue. "Thanks for the hard work, guys," Mingyu said to the crew while clapping along with them who loudly cheered for their favorite author. "Hyung, I need to go. I've to attend my best friend's wedding," Mingyu said to his manager who handed him his car key. "I know. You'll be late. Get going," he said as he patted Mingyu's shoulder.

Mingyu ran to his car, throwing his coat on the passenger seat before pulling away towards the wedding venue. He smiled to himself while driving remembering those crazy days they all had together when they were younger which felt like yesterday to him.

Mingyu pulled up in front of the venue. The venue was beautifully decorated with white roses which made him awe in appreciation. 'Just as pure as she is,' he thought as he made his way towards the waiting room to congratulate his best friend while greeting some friends from high school and university who were also invited to the wedding.

He opened the door of the waiting room to find a gorgeous man standing there wearing a beautiful white tuxedo who turned to look at him as he opened the door. "Look, who's late in his own best friend's wedding? The great Kim Mingyu," the said man tutted playfully, making the other sulk.

"Sorry, hyung. But now I'm here," Mingyu said, being jolly as he approached the male. "So, Mingyu-shi, did the Minwoo have his happy ending in real life?" Wonwoo asked the younger with an amused smile on his lips. "You were watching the live broadcast?" he asked, amazed by the sudden information while the other just nodded in response with a warm smile. "Well, what can I say?" he trailed off as he got behind the other male before putting his arms around the other's waist and pulling him in a tight back hug.

Wonwoo rested his hands on the taller's. "Minwoo and I both always had the happy ending from the very beginning, My Lovely Husband," Mingyu said, inhaling the familiar smell of his beloved husband while the other just giggled in his hold making his inside filled with warmth.

A/N: well, I never said 'He Moved On'. 😉
