Chapter 12 Awkward

In the morning, all of the guys had to leave early to get their stuff from their houses but the girls already brought their stuff so they got to sleep in a little bit. Once it was time to get ready and I got dressed, I realized that my clothes must have shrunk in the dryer a little because last time I checked, my skirt definitely was longer than my fingertips and now it's much shorter. Hopefully no one will notice. We walked to school and took the train again. That pervert that always sits on the train pantsless was there again. All the girls that I was walking to school with and I tried to stay as far away from him as possible.

When we got to the school, Zenitsu was already there taking dress code. This is the first day that I don't think he's late.

"Inosuke! Take off the mask!" Zenitsu screamed at Inosuke. Inosuke just kept walking.

"Tanjiro, no piercings."

"Please! These were my fathers!" Tanjiro covered his ear rings and pleaded with him, "sadly my father has passed and he wanted me to wear them!"

Zenitsu tensed up a little.

"You're free to go."

I walk past Zenitsu and give him a little wave. He didn't stop me for my skirt. That's good!

"Y/n!" He screamed

"Yeah?" I stopped

What am I doing! I should have kept walking!

He came up to me and whispered in my ear, blushing a little.

"I'm sorry to bother you y/n, but your skirt is a little too short."

"I know.... I'm sorry. I just realized this morning that they shrunk in the wash and now I don't know what to do!" I said.

Zenitsu contemplated

"Do you think anyone will notice?" I asked.

"Yeah...." He said

I cover my face in embarrassment.

"I didn't think it was that bad! What are people gonna think of me? I can't go back home to change now and-"

"What size are you?" He interrupted me.

I look at him.

"What?"

He blushes a little and reaches in his pocket.

"What size are you in pants?"

"10......"

"Really?" He asked, pulling out his wallet, "but you're so small."

"Yeah, but I usually can't get the waistband up to my waist since my thighs are too big...." I said

He blushed more and handed me some money.

"What's this for?" I asked

"Go buy yourself a new skirt in the school shop. Don't bother giving me back the change."

"Are you sure?"

He nods his head. I hugged him.

"Thank you!"

He smiled and laughed.

"You're a lifesaver! I'll pay you back tomorrow!"

"There's no need y/n." He said. "Now don't be late for class." I went over to the school shop to get myself a new skirt before going to the bathroom to change and going to the home room.

Zenitsu sat next to me when he got there. I smile at him.

"Did you get the skirt?" He asked

"Yeah. Thank you." I said, "Are you sure you don't want the change?"
