Chapter 17 Fine

I eventually get up off the floor and take a deep breath and walk out of the closet and see Zenitsu sitting outside it.

"Y/n! I'M SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SOOOOOOOOOOOO SOOORRRYYYY! I SHOULD NEVER HAVE EVER KISSED YOU ON STAGE! I JUST GOT SO CAUGHT UP IN THE MOMENT AND YOUR SINGING WAS SO INCREDIBLE AND SO I-"

I grab his face and kiss him really quick. He almost toppled over.

"WHA-"

"I didn't mind at all Zenitsu. Please don't apologize for something like that." I smile and look down as I blush and mumble, "Honestly, that might have been the best moment of my life-"

He grabbed my hands and squeezed them with excitement.

"YOU MEAN THAT?! YOU MEAN THAT YOU LIKED THAT KISS?!"

I nodded my head.

He then looks like he's gonna faint as I sit him down on the floor.

"Woah, easy there..... It's alright..... Where is everyone?"

"They went home an hour ago."

"An hour!? I was in that closet for an hour!? I'm so sorry for making you wait!"

"It was worth it...... because now, we can go on our date."

He grabbed my hand and started leading me out of the school.

"Oh, I almost forgot about that."

"I couldn't stop thinking about it!"

He quickly walks with me in a part of town that I usually don't see.

"Soooooo, where are we going?"

He finally stopped in front of an ice skating rink.

"I was thinking we could go ice skating!"

My heart drops. I've never gone ice skating before..... I've always been kind of scared to slip on the ice. I put on a smile.

"Oh..... I've never been ice skating before......."

"Oh, I could teach you or we could go to another place if you want."

"No it's alright, I've been meaning to learn anyway." I smile.

What am I saying!? I don't know the first thing about ice skating. I'm probably gonna fall on my face and bleed out and die! What a first date this is about to be......

We got inside and rented skates and I couldn't even figure out how to walk in them. Zenitsu had to pick me up and carry me on the ice. He then puts me down and I hang onto the wall.

"Are you nervous?" He asked me with a smug look on his face.

"No....... I just don't wanna fall......"

He chuckles a little and grabs my hand, "you won't fall."

I flail my arms around in an attempt to keep balance and tightly grab onto his shoulders.

"You're not gonna learn how to skate if you hold onto me the whole time you know."

He takes my hands off his shoulders and holds them.

"Don't you dare......"

He chuckles and pushes me back, making me slowly drift away across the ice. I stand very still, still reaching out to him, scared I will lose my balance any second now. He laughed and skated over to me, purposely trying to stay out of my reach.

"This is bullying!" I whine, feeling kind of helpless.

"No it's not!"

I try to move but I topple over but thankfully he catches me.
