(Asif's pov)
The day rahma died on a Friday, 8th December 2023, was indeed a heartbreaking day.
And burying her made me feel less burden especially when I remember she said the shahada.
I found her diary and read through every single page, and it felt like she was there.
I organised special prayers for her every Friday and Alhamdullilah I didn't fall into the darkness although my light wasn't here
But Allah still is and he always willIndeed we are tested with what we love the most and I guess that's why rahma was my test.
A beautiful test indeed.
I know if rahma was still alive and breathing she would want me to live my life as the best version of my myself, as a better MuslimAnd that's what I did, I lived as a muslim, choose my deep over dunya and prayed that Allah reunited us back in jannat.
And maybe our story has come to an end but our memories are everlasting.
And rahma has truly made an impact on the world.
She proved the power of black women
The power of muslim women
She was truly a force to be reckoned upon. And she'll forever live in our hearts.
The end.
